I was on the Lightroom/Photoshop 9.99/mth plan from the beginning...but always only a LR user. I was never happy with the interaction with mobile, and for that matter, found Adobe's mobile options difficult to understand.

Something compelled me to pull the trigger on the LR CC option when they offered it. It was a fearful day as 12K + photos began the file transfer to the Cloud. That process took awhile and made me very nervous. But at the end they all successfully transferred and were immediately available to me for search (via metadata) on my phone. Even though they are in raw I can immediately (from the phone) export them to jpg and send them in mail or to another app. This was (for me) a huge benefit over the Classic program. I was also surprised that with over 12K photos, I'm only using a small fraction of my available storage.

I still edit on my MacBook Pro. It's not quite as robust, but it is very good, and continually improving. I am considering some one-off options like Affinity Photo or Pixelmator to supplement my workflow as I try to do some more complex editing. Would be interested in feedback in those - and how they interact with LR CC.

But just wanted to say I have been surprised and impressed with Adobe LR's Cloud based option.
