I don't pay attention to the various forums, in general... I just go down the list and pick items that look interesting... I like the technical write ups, the cartoons, and photo stacking, but look at others to see what photos are posted. If I post something, it's generally in the wrong forum, and the moderator moves it. I'm not a pro, but this is a great site.

If you think Roosevelts policies were far right then you have never studied Roosevelt. And if he wasnt a socialist he certainly had a serious socialist bent.

He was as far left as any American president in history other than perhaps Obama and Biden.

Left in the US is slightly to the left of centre... not even close to socialism, not at all like the rest of the world. He would be on that political line somewhere between socialist and conservative. My example was that atrocities were committed by people that weren't at the extremes of the spectrum. My statement is still correct. Topic Dropped; I'm not here to educate you.

We did that and we were the civilised ones... I don't recall Roosevelt being a Socialist... but he could have been. They weren't labelled far right, but their policies were. Catch the comment from Oxford... It was the far right in America that 'followed' them. They were labelled National Socialists, but they were ultra right.

Catch the Oxford comment. Oxford is my 'go to' reference; it's world class. F*****ts were ultra conservative. They got their name from the 'sticks' the praetorian guards carried that were bound to the axe they carried.

...also a bad idea. The old addage, "If everyone is thinking alike, nobody's thinking." An alternative opinion allows you to correct your own opinion or it reinforces your original opinion.

After 10 pages, you have to be pretty dense not to understand that.

Found this program and have passed it on to see if it's suitable.

Does this help?

with the selection 'Latest binary version (if you don’t know what to download, take this one)' If you can expand it in a 'Sandbox' and try it. It seems to work OK. I've attached a snapshot of the configuration file:

My reply disappeared... The colours can represent the width of lines. For example a green line may be 0.8mm wide and a magenta line may be 0.2mm wide for plotting. I hadn't considered the lighter lines plotting in shades of gray. Are you aware of anything that can be done to address this issue?

Thanks for the reply, dik

Cad drawings normally show drawing layers in colours. The colours represent the weight (width) of the line. Different objects on a cad drawing are shown with different widths of linework.

Does anyone know of any graphics card that can be set for black and white (or maybe some other colour). Alternatively does anyone know of a monitor that can be set for black and white (or...)?

The reason is the cad operator is colour blind.

thanks in advance, Dik.

One final last reply on this topic. Our education systems have failed miserably.

F*****m is a political position to the right of ultra conservatism. If you look at political systems from Right to Left:
F*****m,
Conservatism,
Socialism, and
C*******m.

All political positions can have violence and unreasonable government intervention.

For examples of government overreach with conservative governments, you only have to look at the Japanese internment camps both our countries implemented... take a gander at the Kent State Massacre... our countries treament of non-w****s... the number of unarmed b****s k**led by the police, the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians, the list goes on. It is not restricted to extreme political positions at the right and left end of the spectra.

Mussolini, as a student may have been flirting with c*******m as many students at the time were; I don't know. He changed in later years. Hitler's national socialist was not socialist, but was extreme right. It was terrible treatment of the 'peasants' by the F*****t governments that drove many students to the c*******t manifesto.

At the start of WWII, a lot of the American ultra rich were accepting of the N**i movement.

From the Oxford definition of F*****m:

ICYC... F*****m is not unreasonably forcing your views on to another person. F*****m is a political position located far to the right of an ultra conservative.
