Andy,
Great point, I just readjusted to be focused with my readers on. Now I don't need to remove the readers to look at the viewfinder. Played around with photo focus also, now I think my photos will be clearer when I am not using auto focus. Oh my photography world just gor a lot better.

Alrighty then,, I just found my diopter adjustment on my t2i. UTube is a great thing. I adjusted it so the info in the viewfinder is clear without my readers. Now to make the photos I take clear. I still will have to use the readers if I use the viewfinder, but that is just the way it is These days.
Thanks to all for your insight.

Ok, that is two of you that mention diopter adjustment. Guess I better figure that out on my canon rebel t2i.

As you can probably figure out I am very new to all this.

Thanks for the comments.😀😀😀😀

rjay, I take them off when I focus my camera because I only need them for up close stuff like reading the camera info prior to the shot. If I don't use them when On the computer, then everything is fuzzy.

Does that make sense?

Thanks, I guess I need be better at focusing my camera. I also use the readers for my computer use.

A follow on question, do you wear your readers when using the display or just the eye piece?

I have to use reader type glasses to see the camera data prior to taking a photo. Question is do those UHH members that wear readers remove them when focusing the camera or leave them on? I have been removing mine prior to focusing.

Thanks,

Keith

Welcome to the forum. I am very new to this photography world as well. So What I do is shoot the first shot in auto and see what the camera is suggesting. Them I may go to manual or one of the other settings to see if I can duplicate that same image. Helps me learn since I have not had any formal training.
Good luck and have fun.

Well seeing this review now has me rethinking my next lense(s) purchase. I like to shoot landscape and at times reach out and touch something at distance. So now the research continues.

Well since I have the SP 3 for now I will just use it and add an external monitor so I can see what I am working on. Headed to the store to discuss the monitor selections avail. Wish me luck.

Thanks to all for your inputs. Helps alot.

Yea, I should have been more specific on the guts of my Surface. So back to the original question, do you think the Pro 3 with a good external monitor is ok for PP. of course once I learn to use the software. I have tried to print my photos from the surface and they don't look anything like they do on the screen. So I believe a good external monitor is required.

Thanks all.

Thanks all for your opinions. They are of great help.

I have the surface Pro 3 , 500Gb and 32 Gb RAM. As far as upgrading the SW, I may just get the subscription for $10 a month. Although I am only a novice and. Only take photos for my own pleasure and to share.

I have a Microsoft Surface 3 loaded with Photoshop Elements 12. Now I know that is not the latest and greatest for PP. I am just wondering if anyone is using the Surface 3 or 4 with an external monitor for their processing.
If the platform is ok I will probably upgrade the PP software once I purchase an external monitor.

Thanks for your constructive opinions.
