Here are a few more from Woodstock, Ct.
Gingerbread houses are always interesting, and most of the time photogenic.
Is this one a Bed And Breakfast, or a period correct museum type walk through??
good shots !!
State Parks have been getting lots of weekend warriors
throughout this pandemic... We now go during the week.
Spring Mill State Park, in southern Indiana...
They have a pioneer village, and a grist mill...
and when it's not Corona Virus Season,
They have a whole village of people that
demonstrate how it used to be....
Sue and I visited in March, and then returned
last Monday..
these photos were tough because the sun was
literally, too bright.
I should have used the (A*) auto scene on the dial..

For those who have been basically confined to their homes still life photography is a great outlet and I've seen some outstanding examples of it both here on UHH and other photography sites. I'm not nearly in that league but have found it to be fun and entertaining - here are some of my still life efforts.
you have done it quite well !!
really liked the watch ..
The thing about still life, as you have discovered,
you can use anything!!

Well, at least, the only crowd you play for is devoted to your music..

When Stay In started. I somehow (don't know what prompted it) found myself posting a selfie a day on my FB page. Like Bob - my hair just grew and grew - these are the deterioration, desperation and delight story of "hair" The daily post became one of my projects and I was surprised how many friends said they looked for them every day,
great stuff !! really liked the photo shop hair colors!!

p.16 Daner, what exquisite shots! Proof that scenes so familiar to each of our lives, are not familiar to others and are welcomed sights. I'm glad you got bored and went walking (X2)
thank you Pat !!
your kind words...
your a great teacher,
probly don't even know it!!
And here's anew one, from May 11th,
and a couple older ones from last August,
I gussied them up a bit...
took a couple walks up the hill in the woods behind the house,
and dug through the archives trying to be creative...
It' Been A Long Pandemic...

I am sure you'd at least have enjoyed some company to help celebrate...
I hope next year this lock down stuff should be in the rear view mirrors...
Congratulations!

The past two and a half months of lockdown have been quite the challenge for all of us, --
I'll start out with pictures of our kitchen project which began at the beginning of the lockdown and entailed replacing the counter with walnut plywood, a new sink, new stonework behind the stove (no pictures of that yet), painting the base cabinets and replacing the framed pictures (both of which are still to be done).
Quite the job!! looks really inviting !! do you still actually use the stove, or just an accent piece? love it !!
We have been fortunate enough living in a small town, to not have to stay cooped up. While not really being able to go anywhere in particular, we have been able to go everywhere... The rain, and quite a bit of it, has kept us in quite a bit more than we wanted... The camera has been stuck taking the same old pictures, locally...and that has made it harder to find new material... but most of the time, you just have to look under your nose...
I must say, though, the painted rock was the biggest surprise, of all... Our neighbor Kelly is a school teacher, and she had her kids out in the sun keeping busy.. when we came up the driveway, 1st grader Harper HAD to come give Sue her rock !! So we proudly put it by the front stair to the porch, so everyone would see it !! I bet you wish you had one !!
I call these Bluebells. Tiny, next to blades of grass.
