The past two and a half months of lockdown have been quite the challenge for all of us, but thankfully, things are beginning to ease up and hopefully, will return to normal. During this time we've all had time to learn new techniques, play with Photoshop effects, and just take pictures. This challenge is an opportunity to show off what we've done with all that time. I'm looking forward to see what you've done!

I'll start out with pictures of our kitchen project which began at the beginning of the lockdown and entailed replacing the counter with walnut plywood, a new sink, new stonework behind the stove (no pictures of that yet), painting the base cabinets and replacing the framed pictures (both of which are still to be done).

While I have tried to learn new skills, I seem to have been forced to capture whatever is in my back yard. I'll be happy to never take another squirrel picture.

What you're seeing is the top of the stove that doesn't get polished - the rest of the body has a nice finish. It's an Elmira Stove Works "Oval" which is used for cooking and heat in the winter. I got it at an auction after a bidding war with an Amish farmer!

Hmm, I think interpreted the lockdown differently. I'll start with some of the changes lockdown has meant and in following days post some of how we spent "Stay in Stay Safe and Save Lives"

Good set. I like squirrels. We don't have them down here.
