If you take your Z-7 image in a software program you can bring out the detail in the sky.
You will notice that the iphone has no detail in the shade portion of the image.
A normal lens refers to having the same perspective as the human eye.
So you are saying that the eyes that use a smart phone have a different perspective as users of 35mm cameras ?
Look inside the left hand cup handle...
The sharpness of the image inside the handle does not match the sharpness of the image outside the handle.
This is what happens when you try to do everything with software.
I did not calculate anything - just Google Iphone mm lens equivalent.
Every single answer is the same - the 3 lens are 13mm, 26mm and 52mm ( 35mm equivalent )
If you had a 35mm film camera or a full frame dslr or mirrorless camera - no one would call a 52mm lens a telephoto lens.
If you look in wikipedia: Telephoto lenses are sometimes broken into the further sub-types of short telephoto (85mm to 135mm in 35mm film format), medium telephoto: (135mm to 300mm in 35mm film format) and super telephoto (over 300mm in 35mm film format)
52mm would be considered a "normal lens"
My first camera was a Mamiya Sekor 1000DTL. It had a 55mm F1.4 lens. No one considered it a telephoto lens - only a "normal lens".
you have cut the resolution in 1/4.
lets say you have 3000 line pairs vertical and 4000 line pairs horizontal.
Do a 2X digital zoom.
You now have 1500 line pairs vertical and 2000 line pairs horizontal.
There is no "Telephoto" lens on the Iphone.
What they are calling a telephoto lens is an "normal Lens"
Apple should really classify the lens as .25x .5x and 1x.
Their "telephoto" lens is really not a telephoto lens but a "NORMAL LENS"
B&H is not a small operation, they have over 2000 employees.
With that number of employees they have a very large operation.
To try and compete on price would be very difficult.
From what is can see on the internet Abe's of Main has 5% of the employees that B&H has.
If you buy from B&H and use their credit card you can save the sales tax. I just bought a telephoto lens from them and saved $90.00
Just remember to set up autopay to pay the entire balance by the dues date or it will cost you interest.
Amazon prime gives you 5% back on purchases at Amazon if you use the amazon card to pay for the item.
Just to point out that in Sky Replacement in Luminar 4, you can change the look of any given sky just by moving the Horizon Slider. So basically one sky image could look lime many different skies just by changing the Horizon slider.
When the lens is referred to as a 52mm equivalent. sensor size is taken into account.
The Iphone has no telephoto lens, nor are any of the 3 lens "Zoom Lens"...
Any zooming is done digitally between the lens.
Did you try the Deep Scan option in Recuva ?
Recuva is a free recovery software...
Office 2010 can be installed on the new computer ( if you have a regular retail licence )
You need the origional disk & the product key.
After installing and activating it you need to uninstall it off of the old computer as you are only allowed to have it on one computer
Thats true but I was talking about a 12mp camera...
If you use a 6mp camera and so a 2x digital zoom you have the equivalent of 1.5mp...
I have a 2mp Camedia C2000 digital Camera that I bought years ago...
4x6 prints look like post cards ... 8X10 are starting to look soft.
