I checked with my Cousin in Bismarck, ND, in the 1910 photo, the diver is the Undertaker in Linton , ND and setting in front left seat is my Aunt and in back L-R is my great grandmother, another Aunt and my great grandfather, the photo was taken on main street in Linton, ND, the cousin whos mother is in front seat says it was just a joy ride in a horseless carriage.
Also it seems they are going somewhere with the suitcase by the spare tire or is that part of the cars tools, like jack, lug nut tool and etc. I should have asked My aunts about this photo when they were alive.
The engine was stock, my Dad told me that some of the cars in the race where souped up and so he never won a race,LOL
Now hers another photo with some of the same relatives and this car looks like a Rio if am not mistaken
no we moved several times in ND, then to Montana in 1951
My Great Grandfather and some Aunts and Uncles
My Father converted this model T ford into a racer and use to race it in Fourth of July races in Mandan, ND cira 1940, My Dad in drivers seat and me and my brother, My Dad had a service station in Braddock, ND
