You misread me. That's not what I said.
I understood you completely. “Agreed” meant that I believe, like you said, there are Republicans who are better than Trump… much better.
But clearly, like CPO, Right/Republican is all that matters to you in who runs your country.
I was commenting as someone with an open politically unbiased mind who thinks integrity, honesty, loyalty and love of country in a leader are more important than their personal ambition. And as a politically unbiased outsider looking at your country I don’t care if that leader is a Democrat or a Republican.

The man has been out of office for 3 years and you still fear him. This is good, because you would also like the borders under control, gas prices back to $2 a gallon and grocery prices lowered to 3 years ago.
Trump’s MAGA dream was to go backwards in time to cruising Skyline Drive in an orange convertible Cadillac with babes in polka dot bikinis vying to ride on his lap.
Time to get real and move forward, old man.

Why flack?
And now we know why... AI.
I am still glad you posted it. There is a lesson to be learned from the exercise.
While AI did a great job on the woman I can’t say the same for the rock that is a poor facsimile of a horse’s butt!
I am impressed with how natural the skin looks after colorization. Nice results.

I don't take the Dems who can't stand Trump too seriously...why should I?
The vast majority of Dems were completely fooled by the Russian H**x...totally bamboozled.
Not by their opposition...which one could understand...end expect...it's politics after all...not an honorable profession.
No...they were lied to by their own people...their own leaders.
They swallowed it hook...line...and sinker.
They are always ready to be manipulated again...and pol's will always oblige.
They aren't serious people...not really.
I don't take the Dems who can't stand Trump too se... (

My disdain for Trump has nothing to do with the Russia h**x. I couldn’t stand him from the get-go of his notoriety. And I am a serious person… really.

If Trump wasn't such an egotistical schmuk he mighta pulled it off (MAGA that is). I know there are good Republicans out there who COULD. A couple of them, however, chose not to run.
Agreed. The qualities/character required to effectively lead the US and the free world are not explicitly tied to a political leaning.

" Trumpublicans "
Fantastic, I may use this. Did you come up with it?
It’s good, but long and hard to internally vocalize. However, if you use it enough it will become a recognizable entity that just has to be viewed to be understood.
Of course, “i***ts” also works as a synonym.
Too many GOP elected officials speak with forked tongues.

Put a fork in him, he's done.
His campaign is like leftovers, good for a couple of days, then it's forgotten or trashed.
He is past his “best before date”… if he ever even had one.

Canada has a lot of hydroelectric power. Is all of it from natural flow or did your country engineer some reservoirs for power generation? If so, is there a movement in your country to undo those dams?
I don’t know the answers to your questions, but I do know there are pros and cons to dams. Flood control and power generation are obvious positives. The reservoirs flood land, but also create aquatic habitats and recreation. But I have also heard that decaying plant materials annually generate large quantities of greenhouse gases that offset the “clean” aspect of hydroelectric power.
Personally, I think electric “anything” is preferable to f****l f**l consumption, but convenience (or inconvenience) is an issue. My hybrid vehicle handles much better on electric power than when it switches to gasoline. My electric lawn mower is corded, and cord management is a nuisance. I like electric lighting vs candles or gas lanterns of old (apart from their romanticism). I like the concepts of solar, wind, wave, hydroelectric, geothermal, hydrogen and even nuclear for generation, thereby leaving our hydrocarbons for manufacturing rather than just burning them.
I am in favour of exploring energy concepts that will improve things for society; I don’t agree with sticking to old ways just because “it was good enough for grandad, dad and me, and should be for my kids.”
