Does anyone have any advice on working as a music venue house photographer? What kind of services do you provide? What happens to your photos/where do they go? Do you charge a flat fee or on a per photo basis? I may have an opportunity along these lines and just wanted to hear from other Hedgehogs how it worked for you. Thanks for any and all advice!
thanks everyone. The Lange's was smaller and tougher to get than I thought, and focusing was hard with all of the twigs and leaves in the way. The Canon 24-70 2.8 is a great lens, but my Tamron 16-300 might be better for macro? Anyone have experience with that?
got a chance to shoot a few of these little fellows yesterday at the Antioch Dunes National Wildlife Refuge in Antioch, CA, the only place in the world they're found.
I had the Sigma 24-70 2.8 and used it for several indoor pro and college basketball games, then rented the Canon version for a game and that was it. No comparison. I now own the Canon and have never looked back.
thanks all. Love shooting with the 50mm 1.4, even compared to the 1.8. Worth the upgrade, is my quick analysis.
Recently pulled out my newly acquired Canon 50mm 1.4 and shot these from the 4th row at a recent California State Fair show in Sacramento. Can't wait to shoot a show from the pit. Camera is the 7D Mark II.
yes, it was a little bit too hot for a day doubleheader on Sunday . . . .
Pretty funny, Evie! This is from Sunday. What day were you at?
He craned his neck so that shot was just of him looking back at me
Using a Canon 7D Mark II. Some PP for noise, exposure and sharpening, but nothing major.
Thanks everyone. I would recommend the lens, if you can afford it! I can't, unfortunately . . .
