Somewhat off topic, but - when I download some photos, and this is one, it will download, and about one second later, the screen goes black. What is going on? 2007 iMac 21 inch screen. 4 gigs Ram. Sometimes only part of the photo goes black - large squares or rectangles.
I have a Steinheil 135/2.8 that I adapted to my Canons. Couldn't find an adaptor on line that worked, so I DIY'd one with parts from a dead Tamron lens, epoxy, and some aluminum. Lots of trial and error to get the infinity focus right, but it worked. Not for the faint of heart, however.
Have you posted more of your photos somewhere else? Love this area.
Nat Cam is an excellent example of a good local camera store. Pretty much every camera I have owned was purchased there, included a used 200/400 Tammy I just added to the collection. I'd recommend them to anyone in Minnesota, and their website is worth a look for used equipment for anyone, anywhere.
I meant wonderful. Note to self: proofread before sending.

Great shots. Kind of like the monkey with its hand in the jar.
Thanks for posting. If you are going to be there for the races, I hope you will be posting more. I'll be there in spirit.
I prefer the B/W. For me, there is more detail in the foreground.
If you have a Mac, you probably already have iPhoto. I suggest you start with that. Easy to use, and you can do quite a bit of post processing with it. When you get serious, and have a bit more experience, Lightroom and Photoshop.
The barrel racing shots are wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
Did he "talk" to you? They have very interesting voices.
Love number two. Reminds me of a lab/malmute cross we had that did the same thing going after mice. Thanks for posting - brought back a great memory.
