Nikon or Canon You can't go wrong In the long haul it's the lenses that count.
I have several thousand slides going back to 1948 I am now using a Plustek 7500 Which is now working. after a year of trying. Trying to get an instruction manual is just about impossible with these modern day manufacturers You get a page in seven different languages.. None of which is understandable Or you can call an 800 number and speak to some one in Indonesia!!

tamron has a six year warranty on their lenses the 28 270 should come under that, I have always had good results with Tamron
