Bounce Speedlite used outdoors, am I going to learn a new method?
My Canon Speedlite 580EX has a catch light card that can be pulled out above the flash head. It might be of some use in adding light to some shadow area in close up's, but I have never tried it for that.
Welcome!
Nice photo's, well done. Welcome to UHH.
Striking images. Welcome!
As you asked for some advise, I will make a couple of comments.
Photo 1. Has to much blur, and is to over done on HDR.
Photo 2. Has a Horizon tilt, which is a little distracting,
however I do like the picture.
Photo 3. Has a much better composition, but I'm not sure
the camera caught what you were seeing.
Welcome to UHH, and keep on posting. I want to see how you are improving.
They have a WOW factor for sure.
I agree, a Nice picture of a Red Squirrel. I have a story about one that I layed peanuts in a row leading up to me. It finally was eating out of my hand. Then it starter climbing up onto my shoulder. They have sharp claws as my body found out on several occassions.
The second photo looks too much like a painting for me, but that is just my opinion. I like the other two photo's, and wecome to UHH.
Welcome! Nice 54 Mercury, it must catch a lot of on lookers.
They are all good photo's, my pick is Playing in the Yard, it is priceless now, and in the years to come.
Welcome, and you'll be hooked now that you have found UHH.
The first photo has a lot of noise in it, and it appears there is some in the following shots as well. Perhaps you are using to high of an ISO.
Welcome to UHH where the info is free, so maybe it is not always the best.
I would like to have seen the photo of the darling little girl in Color. Welcome to UHH.
I like the original photo. Pehaps a little more lighting on the bottle might help.
I use to like Light houses, now I'm not sure.
The second photo looks like it may have been a gas station, but leaves me really wondering what function it had in it's day. Welcome to UHH.
