During the first couple of weeks of December (I think) someone posted a series of pictures in which one was a barn in the middle of a rolling wheat field (I think). It was a wonderful shot and I would like to look at that picture again, but can't find it. Does it ring a bell with anyone? Perhaps the person who posted the shot.

The owner of this beautiful photogenic motor walked away scratching his head that someone should want to photograph his old banger?

This is a classic....the pic and the pickup.

Beautiful! Makes you grateful that Ben Franklin did not have his way.

IMHO, there is very little to improve on #1.

I rather like your original. the limb w/ leaves forms a "top framecover" which covers some rather uninteresting blue/gray fog-shrouded sky and water w/o it.

wpromise: Thank you.

Definitely better with the cropping in both images and, I too, love foggy day images. Living here in San Francisco we get lot's of those.

Flyguy, thanks for your comments and you have some beautiful pictures on the web. The Tadich Grill is a favorite bar of mine.

I appreciate your comments about the images that I have posted on Flickr and also UHH, thank you so much.

The Tadich Grill has been a hang out of mine for about 44 yrs. now, perhaps you and I may have unknowingly crossed paths there at one time.

That is a bit longer than me. My daughter lives in the area and I get there a couple times a year. I think I first went in it in 1972....I thought the bloody mary's were great, but lately they haven't been as good...maybe it is me.

I prefer the originals to any of the "improvements". The second is too subtle for my preference but I recognize it as masterful. #1 is just more my type.

Thanks for looking.
