I have pictures I have printed or posted on FB, that I cant find on my computer. I took way to many pictures without a system for organizing them.

Invest in Lightroom 4 or a program similar. You can import, rate, tag with metadata and therefore locate by searching those key words. You will be glad you did....especially when images are saved on multiple drives.

Great photos. As to the organization efforts, I understand too well. I fear most of mine are organized alphabetally, by height. If this system alone doesn't cause difficulties, my extreme poor spelling really adds to the confusion.

Love them all! I understand about organizing. In my photo club we have been asked to pick our top 5 favorites of all time. I have hundreds of folders, thousands of pics in each. How do I pick 5?? I have less than 2 weeks left to get it done. I'm 65, I don't have enough years left for that! And I'm too old to remember off the top of my head!
