Found Newegg has instant $20 off plus $10 off promo until 10/24 on full version of Photoshop elements 10. Use promo code EMCJKJB62. Total rang up for me at $69.99, free shipping.

The code is still valid, but there is apparently some kind of minimum purchase? When I tried, it said the code was good but the purchase didn't meet the requirements, Any more info? thankq

The deal ended 10/24, the same day I found out about it. Now it's back to the reg. price of 99.99. I seen Costco has it for 79.99/full version if your a member there.
Here's what happened when I just tried to use the code.

Although you've entered a valid promo code EMCJKJB62, your order does not currently meet the code's usage criteria

I would like to learn Photoshop and have PSE 7. I haven't started learning to use it and wondered if I should upgrade to 10 first so I won't have to relearn. Also, what is the difference bewteen PSE 10 and Premiere?

I am also using PSE7, and just ordered PSE10 yesterday. You will have a much easier time learing PSE10 due to the improved guided edit section. A lot of new features have been added since PSE7.
I would go and download the trial version from the Adobe site, good for 30 days, and try it out.

I was going to get pse10 for my MAC but that can't be put on a windows, right?

Here you go.

For customers with both PCs and Macs, the Elements line is now sold as multiplatform software, meaning your single purchase can be installed on either operating systemÂ… If you buy a boxed copy of Elements 10, you will get both the Windows and Mac OS versions of the application(s) and a cross-platform serial number. And similar to other Adobe products, you may be able to put the software on up to two computers, subject to the terms of the license agreement.

I would think both versions would be on the same disk, but I could be wrong.

Wolfman...Now that was a bargain. Did you ever hear of Wolfman Jack, he was on the radio in the 1960's? Nobody then knew what he looked like then, and his music was broadcast out of Tijuana, Mexico, on XERB. Everyone thought he was black and knew very little about him in those days, except he played great music. That's what I thought of when I first saw your handle....;0) I think the first time most people saw him was in the movie American Graffiti.
The only time I received a real good deal from A... (show quote)

Yes I do remember him. That was a good deal. Looks like those days are long gone.

i have pse-7 how much does it cost to upgrade to pse-10?? is it any easier for a newbie to learn? thanks this was my original post. now im REALLY confused. why is pse so complicated?

Just go to Amazon.com or a local Costco, if you have one, and you can buy it for $79.99. Doesn't matter if you own another version or not. It's that simple. Adobe is not giving you any type of discount.

I agree. I'm not promoting Adobe in any way here. Most of the time you can get a better price from an outside vendor. The only time I received a real good deal from Adobe is when they sent me an e-mail offering PSE7 for 29.99.

First of all, the upgrade price from Adobe for current users is 79.99. You can do this via a download or they will send you the disc, and it is the complete program, good for 2 computers.

How can $79.99 be and upgrade price, when you can buy it from Costco, and Amazon for the same price, even if you have never owned any version of it? Big discount for previous users....;0)

It's 20.00 off Adobe's reg. price of 99.99. That said, you can buy it from whomever you choose. The last time I checked Best Buy it was 99.99. Sam's Club didn't have it the last time I checked, but I'm fairly certain they will be the same as Costco.

HELP! Hello all. I am attempting to use a trial version of Elements 10. Upon inspection of some long exposure pics I took, I notice I have included the shadow from the tripod in my composition. I am new to post editing for the most part. Is there an easy fix? Greg

A general tip to one and all. Content Aware was added to PSE9, later versions do not have this feature.

Helpfull tip: You can adjust the size of the Healing Brush by tapping one the bracket keys to the right of the letter P on the keyboard. '[' will make the brush smaller and ']' will make it larger.
