If you downloaded from the site I listed, and you have a Nikon camera, you will find it near the bottom of all the info that's listed.

I downloaded this and it said it was free for 15 days then had to purchase.

Go Here. It works for Nikon cameras, not sure about other makes. This is not a trial version, although you have the option to purchase the full version.

[quote=asylum1972]Looking to buy Elements 10 since it is on sale at Staples. Can someone tell me what is included in the premier package that makes it cost more?? If it's additional doo-dads such as photo books and greeting cards, I'll skip premier.

However, if there are additional processing tools, I might shell out the additional bucks.

Thanks![/quote
Elements Premier is used mostly for editing videos, so if you are not planning on doing that, just go with Elements 10.
You can get all the info at Adobe.com

Maybe I read your post wrong........you are trying to put color into a black and white image? If thats the issue then the answer is you can't. Since the color information isn't there what can your computer work with?

I believe this is what wcasey is trying to accomplish.

Hello! I am new to photography, and am currently using the trial version of Photoshop Elements 10. I Can't for the life of me figure out how to get partial color in a black and white photo. I see how to take the color photo, and turn it to black and white, then I get lost. I have watched several tutorials on it, but none seem to work. I am completely lost when it comes to the layers... any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Here's a good tutorial that's fairly easy to follow.

This will also work in Elements 10.

Do all dslrs show the shutter activations in the EXIF data? I have a Nikon D90 and can't find it looking at the data with Thumbs +, Photoshop CS5 and Picassa 3.

Here is a good free program that gives you tons of info, including shutter actuations.

I have PS elements 5. Does anyone know if I can just upgrade to 10 or would I have to purchase it outright?

I could be wrong, but I believe you would have to be using PSE 7, or later to qualify for the upgrade version.
Newegg.com has the full version for 89.99 w/free shipping/no tax.

I just bought a Nikon D3100. Does anyone know which instruction book out there is worthwhile for me to read and learn more about how to use this camera to the fullest other than just read the manual comes with the package? Thanks.

Check this out. It's not a book but it will help you understand the different functions of your camera.

You can DL a free trial version of Photomatix and try that out.
The only catch with the free version is that is puts a watermark on saved images.
But if you found that you really liked it and wanted to buy it, I believe those marks can be removed on any images you might really love once the purchase is made.

Check here for more info on Photomatix and a coupon code for money off a purchase.

Watermarks can be removed after purchase, as long as there is no further processing done outside of the Photomatix program itself.
