That's because they have to satisfy consumers who complained about having black bars on the sides
of the image when displayed on a 16:9 screen.
Bad move on their part to satisfy ignorant viewers.
Congrats.
Our son lives in Peoria.
You're almost neighbors.
It's been resolved.
A receipt issue.

Don't stop posting.
I enjoy and appreciate your photography.
If someone doesn't like your pictures they can simply stop looking at them.
No need to make negative comments about them, except for technical reasons.
The color is wrong. Move that light.
Have your model twist this way or that way.
Keep up your and you're models good work.
I am having an awful time trying to get my pre-purchased upgrade activated.
It is brutally complicated.

As much as we appreciate Christmas, and as nice as those songs are, we are always very glad when the season is over and we don’t have to hear them for another year. No headaches, though.
No headaches.
Wow something I haven't experienced since March 1996.
I like Christmas music.
A few weeks worth is fine.
The Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding of a Salvation Army ringer drives me CRAZY!!!!

A slice & dice.
I asked my neurosurgeon for another slice & dice after a drill job but he refused.
He said I had enough. :-( sniff, sniff

Since speed is probably the most touted advantage to using an SSD, I have to wonder if using one as an external drive really offers much of an advantage.
If your using the drive as a backup drive? NO!
While they do offer a faster response and a faster transfer rate.
Let's get real about really needing that increase in speed as to having a much larger storage drive.
4TB spinning drive $89.00
1TB SSD $150.00 on up.
So 4tb of SSD storage. A little more then $89.00
As for reliability.
I have had some failures. Everything fails.
And I have some 80mb drives that work just fine.
320mb, 750mb, 1tb, 2tb drives too.

For the cost of a single 1tb SSD you could have have two 4tb drives.
Redundancy is most important.
My data including my photos are backed up to four 4tb drives and split between two 2tb drives.
Safety in numbers.

Famous last words but I’ve never had one go bad. But your point is well taken. I will get an extra usb drive to back up to.
Well I used to service computers and looked into to many eyes with tears in them when they realized they just lost all their data.
Rescue disk ignorance, not their fault when they weren't warned first that a full restore wipes out all data.
Outright drive failures.
I've also seen some teared eyes through the computer when someone was begging for help and they realized their one backup drive also failed.
Happens.
Lost files. Expensive.
Multiple redundant drives, cheap.
