Using a tripod and cable release for camera shake would you ever leave VR on while shooting birds?

Also a great lens on FX at 16mm. I use this on my D800e and love it!

Do not use your camera around the windows and doors of the brothels. If you do it could end up in the canal. You can shoot everywhere else.
If you can go to the roof of the Double Tree by Hilton and have a drink. This is an excellent spot to shot the city skyline at night.
Also, use the bus system and go to Eden and Volendam. Easy bus ride and great towns for photos.

Why? They look alright to me. I am just throwing this out there for conversation is all.

Yes the photos look fine. BUT why would you not shoot raw and jpg? For me most of my jpgs are fine and I felt the same in film days about prints I got back from the store. But also just like film in the film days I always wanted my negatives in case I got that one shot worthy of a contest or printed display. Raw is my digital negative and it cost nothing worth talking about to store them.

Long Island's oldest public observatory (est.1927). I took my grandson here Saturday. (7-2-16) He is five and has a understanding of the universe that is well beyond his years. We got to see the ring around Saturn looking through the main telescope. Yhanks for looking.

As a GH4 user, I can do both. I save raw and JPEG files and set the JPEG menus to one of the B&W modes. That way, I can SEE in B&W in the electronic viewfinder as I'm composing. The raw can be used any way desired, later. The JPEG can be used immediately if necessary.

Makes perfect sense. Thanks.
