Agreed,

Read up on LanzaTech - In April, the company's microscopic bacteria began ingesting carbon monoxide from a steel mill in China. Carbon monoxide goes in one end of the bacteria and ethanol comes out the other.

Products like this are the real answer to CM. The world will be tied to carbon fuels for at least 50-75 more years, so instead of using non-science, oppressive government, and a state of fear to address it, encourage more real innovation like LanzaTech. Also think wind power ----- go with the underwater mills, as waves never stop! Also, the avoidance of catastrophic bird kill is a plus by itself.

Tesla is a great auto. A guy in town has one and has given many a ride in it.......nice, and fast!

My caution to all is to remember that the tesla, like any battery car, has a very non-green side to it. Depending on how long you keep,it and how many miles you drive it, it can be more hazardous to the environment than a Hummer. Remember, all those batteries and plastic need to be recycled some day!

P,

You can't spend a percentage. Once the numbers get this big, the only important data point is TEN TRILLION, which is the amount of debt that will be added to your kids backs once Obama leaves office.

Every single one of your simplistic, childishly arrogant points have been adequately answered by PNagy, so I won't honor your moronic ramblings by repeating them.

You are the problem with America.

Isn't gunner so cute? He gets so butch when he's angry! Of course, as a blind-follower libiot, he is always angry with opinions other than his own. In fact, I doubt he even understands the meaning of the words he uses as they hold little relation to the subject matter. I will submit that there is little arrogance in my previous post, as it relates specifically to both my personal and direct experiences in W. Europe AND can be supported by basic sociology studies (ie homogenous societies).

Of course, as a libiot gunner prefers emotion over facts & data, both of which tend to confuse the libiot mindset.

To close, the only thing childish here, moron, is your inability to discuss a subject with others who don't fall all over themselves agreeing with you. As I said, you know what you are, you mindless libiot. Call your government and have them deliver you a pill!

No, we did not harness electricity. We learned how it worked and learned to make our own. We can learn from nature and that is all we can do. As for vaccines, we learned to make it, taking what nature had to offer but when we take foods that we grow and try to create what nature does best, we end up killing ourselves. There is so much preservatives in processed foods that we actually harm our bodies.

I would argue that harness is a correct description:

"Harness: To bring under control and direct the force of: If you can harness your energy, you will accomplish a great deal."

Example? Hydro electric power, perhaps?

Exactly! And one could say GMO is nothing more than a foods-growth comp to vaccines, or harnessing electricity or damming rivers.

Mike,

Think through Steve's derogatory term for the TEA members........that makes him, Steve, the "bagee"!

Hey, Steve.....how's the view down there?

So I guess those nuts that developed vaccines, as an example, were "messing with nature" and should have been stopped

You guys sound like the same crowd that bucked Galileo, man. Not everything you don't understand is bad, dudes. Instead of blindly lashing out, perhaps you and your crowd could get our moron elected class to actually have some REAL science performed to measure the MEASURABLE effects of these things that so scare you all!

(Hey, a quick heads up.....we have harnessed nature in the form of electricity!)

Gunner,

The ten points simply reflect a political set of dogmas and beliefs which you agree with. Bully taw.

Having spent a lot of time in Europe, western in particular, I will point out that the U.S. is less homogenous than any European country by a magnitude (think Switzerland). The more homogenous an area is, the less aberrant the behavior tends to be (check your sociology books on this one).

Also, we are much, much more free here in the U.S. than in Europe (try railing out to loudly against a person in, say, England, and watch how quickly you are jailed or sued). Yes, this freedom has a price, but we and those before us paid that price because A) it's worth it, and B) it is a major reason of why we are no longer a simple colony.

Anyone who really believes these ten items, such as more vacation time, make Europe better should really do themselves a favor and move there. Really, you deserve it. Why settle for what you believe is a subpar life when you have it in your power to change it?

Oh, I think I get it now....... You are waiting for the government to take charge and change it for you. And since you know best have the same government change it for all the rest of us!!!

You know what that makes you, right?

Steve,
I watch "mucho newso" (too much, in fact), on several channels. Due to the coverages of the 2000 election cycle and 9-11, I switched from NBC-branded channels as my primary to others. Over time, I put FOX in as my primary. This means I watch Fox first on a major event, than watch the coverage next on others. I have found that I seem to key in on CBS and CNBC (for business stuff).

Why did I drop NBC (outside of CNBC)? Their coverage of 9-11 was somewhere between subpar and horrible, thus opening the window for others.

Anyway, to your comments on FOX, I will say that I have never heard a "lie" on the news on FOX that wasn't corrected later. Do I hear some off things on their various entertainment, talk, and specialty programs? Of course.

To your specific comment on the Kenya thing......NOPE! FOX never declared Obama a citizen of Kenya, period. You are wrong. They Did cover the story when many! such as Trump, were stirring the pot, but the news on FOX NEVER declared it as such.

As one last aside, I have noted over the years that those who have the most vitriol for FOX never really watched FOX. I bet my neighbor, who was always dumping on FOX, to watch the news for 7 straight days (I thin we settles on Shep), and to give me specifics on lies, misdirections, etc. to make it worth his while, we made a reasonably large bet. He lost, I won, and a local charity got the dough!

:)
