Some aspects of new cars are better - some of the safety technology and improved fuel efficiency, for example. But it is now just about impossible to do your own car maintenance. Remember when you could replace the entire headlight for $7? I am no mechanic, but with help from a friend I replaced the head gasket on my first car. You could look at the engine and understand what was what. And while engines can still last 200,000 miles or more if you take care of them, all the "stuff" on cars breaks down before the engine (repairing that automatic window costs $450 - ouch!)

I hope he meant tapestry! It is a very nice photo. I grew up in Kansas - it is great to see some of the original prairie areas being returned to their natural state. After all - they aren't "weeds" - they are wildflowers!

The video is typical cult propaganda. It would be silly if people were not actually out there gobbling up this drivel. It starts with mist***hs and then "explains" their point. NO ONE (well, no educated person) considers tonsils, the coccyx, and the thyroid gland as "vestigial" organs, and there are some very good scientific theories as to why the appendix "evolved". (It serves a very important function in maintaining normal bowel bacteria after a bout of diarrhea.) The fact that these organs serve a purpose hardly argues for a god at the drawing board figuring out how to "design" everything... The video explains that "Africans" have a large jaw "because of their diet", implying that evolution has nothing to do with it. An "African" baby brought up in the US still has a jaw shape predetermined by its genetic makeup... a function, yes, of diet, but dietary needs over many generations, benefitting those people with a fibrous diet who have a larger jaw. This is the concept of evolution, guys... thanks for pointing out this good example.

You assume that we think Obama is a failure. The biggest failure, in our eyes, was the overt r****m that reared its ugly head in this country when he was elected - including the concerted effort by the r****t members of congress to invalidate his presidency by refusing to work with him. Most of us are most upset that he was not able to be as l*****t as we wanted. But this will change when the Democrats take back the house and senate this year, along with winning the White House again.

Many of us would LOVE an alternative candidate, but this year it is all about choosing the lesser of two weasels. Both candidates are self-serving corrupt, lying, power-hungry people. But Hillary is PREDICTABLE. Trump is a bat-s**t crazy narcissist who cannot believe he ever lies or does anything wrong. Who "talks to himself" to get expert advice, and who "knows more than the generals about ISIS". THAT is some scary s**t!

The thing about r****ts is that they often are insensitive narcissists who either can't tell when they are saying or doing something r****t - or they are convinced that they are perfect and could never do anything wrong. I love the statement "Obama was a mistake". A re-elected mistake I guess.
