Your son apparently has a very sharp mind. By the time I finished reading your description of his filing method, I had forgotten what the first section of the file title meant. I can just see me trying to identify a file needing eight to ten segments... laughing and babbling as the whitecoats take me away. Does you son have a method for the below average 80-year-old brain?

You have a fine photo there. You also have two very nice photos, one of each of the birds (after a drastic crop). I don't know if your lens is a zoom, capable of getting closer, but that might be an option for any of the above.

Don't worry. We've all been where you are. This is a wonderful craft/art/hobby/profession (take your pick). You will soon begin seeing things in new ways, with new clarity, and you will find your niche.

Wanna' trade places?

...sounds like Rev.Robertson has been there. Maybe someone out there has something on him. Oh well; who cares? This is the good ole' USA and we love to forgive. Just ask president Bill or reverend Jimmy.

I hide out because I am a hermit, and I will continue to do so until those damn paranoids stop bothering me.

I think it's an unfortunate syndrome of this week's newly-dscovered disease, known medically as The Slackjawed Stare. The malady begins at birth, peaks during adolescence, then afterwards rapidly increases at a ratio inversely proportional to the patient's remaining years of life. At 80 years (unfortunately my age) the condition is almost constant.

I think it's time for my nap.

Hide it quick, before some "expert" calls it "art" and everyone starts doing it.

Be very careful NOT to install any updated driver sent you by Epson. After such installation is usually when your trouble with aftermarket ink begins.

I suspect Epson sabotages their printers by adding a command or two, imbedded in their free "upgrade" software. I further suspect that the suicide signals imbed themselves in the print heads or in a bios chip somewhere in the printer, detect the aftermarket material, and cause the printer to:

1. Fail to recognize aftermarket ink carts. I have noticed that the failure to recognize follows closely the installation of their generous free upgrade software.

2. Damage the print heads, effectively killing or maiming the printer. In other words, I suspect Epson is sabotaging their own product, then blaming the resultant damage on the user who has the gall to use someone else's ink.

Wouldn't it be the same thing as Ford selling you a car, then insisting you use only Ford gasoline, which costs $20 per gallon? If the customer decides to use a different brand of gas costing $4 per gallon, his car is seriously damaged or even destroyed by a suicide device implanted by Ford during manufacture.or maybe during a generous "free" service visit.

This stinks of restraint of trade, foisted by some empty suit bean counters, greedy beyond measure... who love to display their contempt for the customers who pay their giant salaries.

Ask around. Decide for yourself, but leave me alone because my mind is already made up.

 no offense, but I'd clone out the vertical antenna along the left border. Any way you cut it, it's really well done. (The antenna would probably go out of view when you frame this great print.)

I love the Michigan towns, like Colon, Coldwater, White Pigeon, and a thousand others. The "Opera Houses" and museums, the main streets and taverns, the hidden little lakes, the atmosphere; and most of all, the people.
