You're a man after my own wave.
These photos are as fine a I've seen of the Great Angry Lake. You were lucky to have had some blue sky-- sunlight really splashes the waves
Living only 4 blocks from the Lake, I more than appreciate that NE Wind and will run out out to North Avenue or Fullerton with camera in hand. Just hope to get some night shots some time
Only one minor criticism, I would erase that branch in the top-center of #4
(don't get too close; angry lakes like to swallow)
I love #3, the one with the house lights. Is that s special filter giving that silver background effect?
Marlin Perkins would be proud
Like your choice of pictures you uploaded. It shows a positive frame of mind.
Personally, I've chosen to keep positive images of Asia-- particularly the little children and elderly (I was all over)
I celebrate Veterans Day with a NY Strip at Gene & Georgetti's, a bottle of Chianti, and 2 Macanudo Portofino cigars, which I am preparing to leave for right now
delicious shot-! (at an unfortunate cost)
"I do hope you meant "girl" in the 2nd pic, since she isn't."
You mean she ain't "really" a girl? Damn, and I thought I had San Francisco figured out
The tundra is quite striking in these photos. I particularly like #9
#1. Voo Doo woman in New Orlean with a bit more voo than doo
#2 A lovely young San Franciscan girl celebrating getting out of rehab
#3 The Little Engine Who Could in the Tenderloin
#4 A lovely inter-racial couple in San Francisco
#5 Another Little Engine Who Could in NYC Chinatown
#6 A Catholic priest leaving the funeral of the Arch Bishop of Chicago
#7 Tinkerbelle on her bicycle in New Orleans
#8. Reading the Shanghai News in the NYC Lower East Side
#9. Chinese tourists in Downtown Chicago
#10 An aging opera singer, singing "The March of the Toreadors" in San Francisco
"I actually agree with you but am curious. Did you take this shot with your phone"
Cute, but no prize. I was sitting on a park bench and used my dSLR (I know the picture's not that good
"But, what about my text?"
Ha-Ha. Spoken like a true abuser
Yea! You didn't get mad at me.
See the individual obsessed with his cell phone while walking along a beach? What you don't see is the spectacular 100-story Hancock Center right behind above and the rest of the beautiful Chicago skyline right there at Lake Michigan.
Are you obsessed with your cell phone as you walk across busy intersections such as New York or Chicago as you bump into pedestrians (like me)?
Do you drive, obsessed with your new message, and strike a bicyclist (like me)?
Instead of being angry with me (as some will be), lift your head and see the flowers and the great waters and bicyclists (like me).
Damn-! All of sudden I want a beer.
Thanks for getting back.
GND Lightroom option - compared with the filter ... what do you think? Get a bit more pin-point control with Lightroom?
really liking it. kinda erie.
did you use a red filter by chance?
