You usually will find it is better to use a larger lens than a tele converter with a wide angle lens.

Sinatraman, I will be looking for them. Thanks

In fact you already worked on them and reposted. I love them. Cropping them in tighter did wonders also. Good work.

notnobuddha: Great work. I like the way light is captured inside the flowers themselves.

rone: Great shots. I like the blue background on your sunflower. I like the way you have the flowers in focus. You could blur the background just a little more as in Phyllis's suggestions.

Tiger, Great photo. Usually all those spots of light, like your blue and green spots, are distracting, but I think you made them work for you. Thanks for shareing

linsuemon, I like your photos. The butterfly one: There are three white spots on the right of the butterfly that are distracting. Darken them for a great photo. I like the way the flower is out of focus. It does not distract from the butterfly. The Deer: I think if you cropped the light shrubbery from the top and the light grass from the bottom, the deer would be more noticable. The Flower: I wish it were mine! It is great. I like the way you captured the water drops on the flower. I used to carry a spray bottle when I was photographing flowere and blossoms just for that reason. Over all --- Good work.

Sinatraman, Love your shots. Your second and third of the civil war photos would be better (in my opinion) with the 21st century house at the top removed. Also in photo #2 there is a woman in a bathing suit in the background on the left that does not seem to go with the time frame of the rest of the photo. I have your web site for the other Civil War shots you told me about. I will visit it. Have not taken the time yet. Love your work. Clarence

I usually just leave my small digital nikon on auto and point and shoot. The results may not be good enough quality for sales, but they are good enough for my home use. I am happy with this. I do not know how to check these settings to record them. The forum will have to over look my lack of info. or kick me off the site. I hope it is not the latter. I do want to improve my work.

I like the contrast on "Looking", the second photo. I like your deep greens and blues. Looks good.
"Trees" would be a much better photograph without that big green blob of an unfocused leaf in the upper left corner.
Overall you do good work.

Novice to digital photography. I am hoping to pick up a few tips to improve the quality of my photos. I do not expect to ever try to sell any and use any for profit. I just want my family and friends come up with the ooh's and ahh's when they look at my work. I am always open to pointers on improving.
