A rather here nor there question to do with gun laws. I wonder if the signers of the Bill Of Rights gave any thought to what the profound consequenses might be should future gun makers create full auto, high capacity, rapid fire rifles. Most likely not. Far as I'm concerened, the NRA needs to step up to the plate and start taking responsibility and promoting changes as to how we can best deal with the issue. How can things change for the better when we continue to let corporate America dictate policies over what is best for We The People.

What you are not realizing is that the second amendment doesn't give us any right at all but rather what it does do is to prevent the government from reducing that right.

Actually Giuliani said she was not there when he requested a pardon. How can you be certain he was not lying when he said that. I cannot believe Giuliani says anything t***hful-he just says things to appease his money source by the name of DJT.

I was inferring it based on the common knowledge that he never asked for a pardon and since he never asked for one she could not have been there when he did.
Kinda the same way I can assure you that I never jumped off the empire state building in front of you so I can safely say that you never saw me jump off the empire state building.

From RawStory, Rudy Giuliani as he tried to undermine Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony, said this little gem:

"The J****** 6 Witch Hunt Cabal has now exceeded even its prior fraudulent," he said. "The last witness was a reckless liar. Contrary to her false testimony she was never present when I asked for a pardon."

Admitted something, did he?

He followed up with an attempt to fix that comment with “Actually, I told the President I did not want or need one.”

Don't miss the comments,

Well one thing that is sure is that he is admitting that she was lying about saying she was there.

Parts of these western states are desert. That means hot during the day and cold at night (sometimes a significant change) because of low humidity. Easy to see how they thought desert conditions mean it's hot all of the time. That's what I thought when I was a kid.

I used to live in El Paso in the desert and I can assure you it is not hot all the time.
It's very common to wear a jacket in the morning and tee shirt by the afternoon.
The temperature can and does fluctuate that much.

Does anyone have experience with a Gosky High Definition Monocular Telescope and Quick Phone Holder?

https://a.co/d/1ccRtyD

A friend said from what he has seen, they take excellent photos and they’re a lot cheaper than a DSL with a telephoto.

Thanks,
Dave

I've heard that it's a decent monocular and if you get one and like the results. There's even an adapter that lets you use it on your camera instead of the phone only.

Scrolling through Netflix last night, I found "The Rental" - a new offering - so I watched it. The four main characters were the most stupid people on earth. Two brothers, a wife, and a girlfriend rent a house for the weekend. Almost all of their actions are things that normal people would never do. Naturally, their stupidity catches up with them. If you want to feel superior, watch this film.

The movie I began watching was "The Mist," a horror film with a good cast. A few minutes into it, I realized that I had seen it before. It's a typical horror film - worth watching if you like that kind of thing. The actions of the characters aren't quite believable, but it's entertaining.

I was extremely disappointed with The Mist when I saw it.
It's so much different than the book which was a fantastic story.

We used to have and use an old simplex jack when I was working for a towing company and we would have a recovery call for a semi truck.

Way back then it was reported there were missile silos in Chicago. Other places I've seen UFOs include Cookeville TN where there are reported to be huge lodestone deposits. I saw two different things there; one a group of three in formation; one a single bright object bright enough to cast shadows and confirmed by a football coach working on the field with full lights on that said it was so bright it drew his attention. I hope these hearings show interesting new data.

Yeah I have heard the legends of the supposed silos although I think submarines would be more likely.
Think about it a mobile arsenal cruising around the great lakes.

Perhaps not quite on topic, but I have seen several UFO's over my 74 years, the first as a child in Chicago in broad daylight. Other's at night and usually for only a short time. Perhaps that's why the photos tend to be poor quality? Most of us don't have a camera always at the ready and these things can move very fast.

Chicago is a little bit of a hot spot for UFO activity.
My theory is due to the lake since it seems that so many sightings happen near large bodies of water.

Bingo!
I've read somewhere that the SR-71's sensors were pointed sideways so they can fly outside a nations border and look in. But most probably it can rotate into many directions.

Here's a good site to get the information on the cameras on the sr71 .

From my limited knowledge, I seem to recall that reconnaissance aircraft cameras are designed to accurately film what is beneath them, or at a downward angle. They are not meant for air-to-air photos. The blurry photos of UFOs are from targeting systems, which just need to “lock-on” to a target.

That is just what I was going to say.

I'm going to have to have cataract surgery in the near future but I have recognized the issues my diminished eyesight has caused my perception of color and such so I have to trust my software and I still get a second opinion before calling the editing done.

Did the laws on private ownership of moon dust change? It was illegal as recently as 2011 when a sample illegally stolen was recovered. (Technicians who were supposed to develop the film taken on the Apollo 11 mission found moon dust in one of the camera that had been dropped to the surface. They stole a small sample of it and sold it.)

I don't think that the problem was possession of the moon dust but that it was stolen from NASA
