The docking station works with my contemporary lens.

Thank you. I think I'll look into getting one.

I have exactly the same problem as you with my Nikon. I've ordered the dock. Hopefully that will help fix the issue.

Please post if the dock helps. If it does, might have to invest in one myself.

I have the lens with my Canon 7D mark II with no problems. Make sure you micro adjust the focus with the docking station first, so that the focus will lock on with the sharpest setting. I have my OS set for the highest setting that is noticeable in the viewfinder. It's a wonderfully very sharp lens, but the micro-focus must be accurate first.

I don't have the docking station. Wondering if it's worth spending the $59 on. When I sent the lens back to Sigma, they knew the issue. Wonder why they didn't get in touch with me when they had the lens. They could have tweaked it before sending it back to me. Without a docking station, I'll have to send the lens back to them again. The service supervisor gave me his direct number and said he will work with me to get it right.

I have the same lens and do not have the issue. I used the lens on a canon 7DM2.

Can you actually see the image stabilize through your viewfinder?

I purchased the Sigma 150-600 Contemporary lens for my Canon Rebel T6s in May. Even on a tripod and a remote shutter, my pictures are not tack sharp. I've read that at 600 mm, it will never be sharp. I had a professional photographer friend use my lens to see what he can capture. He said there was something wrong with the OS, that his focus point does not lock when half pressing the shutter. I sent my camera back to Sigma for AF calibration and a software update. I got the lens back the other day, my photographer friend came over to try it again -- same thing. OS does not lock when looking through the viewfinder. He brought his 50-500 lens with and sure enough, is OS locks when half pressing the shutter. I called Sigma. They told me with this lens has a new generation of OS. Upon further reading about this lens, I guess there are 3 ways to adjust the OS if you have a dock. They set mine to "default." My friend took my lens with him and will be shooting some wildlife tomorrow and will report back. I was wondering if anybody else has this lens and if you have the same issue. Thanks in advance.

I connected my Canon T6s with my Note 3 and my iPad mini 4. I use the "Canon Camera Connect" app with both. I had trouble syncing it with my Note 3 so watched this video. Then I wanted to sync it to my iPad mini 4, but had to call Canon to help me connect it to a second device as I knew there was a way, but just couldn't figure it out. I needed to use the phone icon on the camera to connect it to the iPad. I was trying to use the computer icon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REECVAklnSI

I bought my Canon Rebel T6s and an 18-135 kit lens (both refurbished) through Canon. Great deal and a one year warranty on both.

I purchased my Sigma 150-600 lens through Digital Goja via Amazon. I also received a monopod and a "beautiful" Vivitar camera backpack with the package and free shipping. Received them fast, well packaged, and the Sigma 4 year warranty for my lens. It also came with cleaning kit and a microfiber cleaning cloth. I couldn't be happier.
