Thanks very interesting. One of my hobbies used to be testing lenses. I have tested a couple hundred lenses including many Leica and zeiss lenses. I was surprised to see the sumy as your sharpest lens. Modern photography used to rate 88 l/mm as excellent. Most of my Leica lenses rated as excellent but the only lens I tested that approached 200 l/mm was a lowly Pentax 100mm f2.8. It even exceeded Leica Sumys and 100 apo macro. This whole subject has gotten me interested in shooting film again I still have an entire freezer full. I guess I’ll get out my large and medium format stuff out again.
I have fm fm2 Fe fe2 all at reasonable price if you still are looking also lenses
None of the above approaches Kodak technical pan film. I treasure the 100 foot roll and 4x5 boxes in my deep freezer. This film has almost no grain, and great characteristics.
Me again. I’ve compared my oly with my canon 5d mk3 with L lenses. I have 12-40 12-100 100-400 and a dozen others. Also 10 or so L lenses. I am shooting almost exclusive with the oly. Only use the canon in very low light. I’m very pleased with the oly. When (not often) high res mode comes into play it blows away the canon. I suspect 30x40 or larger would not be a problem
I made a 20x24 razor sharp with 12-100 lens
The road up pikes peak is not that bad. Gold camp road is spectacular.
Sounds good I would like to get this
I would love to get one or two sets of these. it would take me a long time to use all of them. Of course I'd pay for shipping. If you shipped all of them to me I would give the extras to students at the local school of art, to students that use that printer. I can send a picture of mine to show that I actually have this printer and am not selling them for profit
How do you determine the shutter count on cameras including these two?
