Since "MOST" of my photos are of nature, and wildlife, I have Tamron 150-600mm G2 Mounted on a Nkon D500 set in manual mode, but with Auto ISO activated... All ready for "out the door" with extra batteries and fast memory cards.

IMHO..Do not go for the D7100, but go for the D7200, which has a much larger Buffer!..All else is the same, and it is built like a tank, and will also accommodate almost ANY older Nikon lenses which the D5600 will not.. Good luck on your choice!!.And..Happy Holidays!!

I'm certainly "jealous" of you having a Leica, however, it wouldn't work for me as I shoot mostly wildlife with a Nikon D500/Tamron 150-600mm G2, giving me a "reach of 900mm" at speeds of up to 10/fps. ..Your camera is GREAT as long as your subjects are not moving too fast!.. Leica has some incredible sharpness built into their lenses and the strength and reliability in their bodies to last a lifetime for a somewhat limited range of users with "deep pockets" who are not shooting sports or active wildlife!! I'm approaching age 75 as I write this, and My D500 could be my last camera, but if I could afford a D850 Nikon, I'd go for that full-framer in a heartbeat, as it is considered by it's users to be the best all-around camera that Nikon has ever made! And..Oh..YES.. I also have a D7000 converted to an infrared only DSLR..Now that we're in "stick-season" here in the Northeast, I must wait until spring to begin to maximize my use of that one until the "GREEN" returns!!....And..SEASON'S GREETINGS to ALL!!

Since the D7200 has just been discontinued, I think if you made the switch to one of this this model, most of your controls would be in exactly the same as on your 7100, but with a MUCH better buffer which you will instantly notice when you shoot bursts with it, and otherwise the camera will feel quite similar to your D7100!.. And like I mentioned, the discontinuance of the 7200 should make it quite appealing price wise..New or used!..Good luck!!

I regularly use Topaz Denoise as a plug-in in photoshop cc2018 with originals from my D500 Nikon shooting only in RAW mode.. I find most of the time I can find a nice balance between noise and sharpness on ISO's up to 6400, although it's really easier in most situations to go to ISO3200, which is my standard for a lens optic that is wide open at F6.3. I think comparisons have been made between the crop sensor D500, and the FF D750 in the noise category, and being a "newer design", the D500 seems to have less noise than the Full Frame D750 from what I've read.

If you can find yourself a good used D7200, your short buffer problem will pretty much go away..This is one of the major differences over the D7100..All the controls and feel is pretty much the same! You'll really see the difference while shooting sports!

Yes it will go VERY large as long as you have an excellent file to begin with..Do make sure you deal with any possible "noise" issues before you send it out.. If you use Topaz Denoise, and AI Gigapixel, your 300dpi image quality at 20x30 and larger should very closely mimic a 12x18" print!! This D500 is one amazing piece of equipment!! Good Luck!!

To my knowledge, NOTHING Photoshop related will replicate or give your the EXCELLENT results you will capture by using a circular polarizer. But I would NOT use it for less than the full-frame equivalent of 40-50mm, as the polarization with virtually anything less than that will usually give you an uneven effect across the sky.

It depends upon your OS.. I have a windows 7 desktop I uploaded CC2019, and all was well until I tried to open a JPG!.. I contacted Adobe, and they were a great help, but rolled me back to 2018, as currently CC2019 will not as yet "play" with windows 7. BTW, I do not see any real advantages to upgrading to CC2019, so i'm not worried.. Windows 7 has been a great and stable platform for Adobe CC 2018!

If it's a 16 bit tiff giving you that large file, and you are DONE with editing, you can save this final tiff as an 8 bit file and cut your files size in half with NO loss on anything for your 20x30" output!!

I've used the Better Beamer, and the results are pretty good..However, make sure you follow their advice, and do NOT have your screen facing the sun!..That screen made toast marks on the hood of my Tamron 150-600mm G2 while mounted on my Nikon D500! ..It can work like a magnifying glass to start a fire!! I now just use my SB800 Nikon as flash fill on high speed sync on closer subjects (with NO MODIFIER)!
