With the recent update to ACR, Adobe has added an AI Denoise feature. Its easy to use and appears to do a reasonable job. I tried on an obvious noise image shot at ISO 1600 and it worked great.

One negative is that it takes about 15-20 minutes. If you are not using Topaz or some other denoise program, not sure anyone is gonna want to wait that long to process one image. Certainly not me. I'll stick with Topaz.

I tried the Denoise feature in LR yesterday and it was a good 10 minutes to finish the image. Topaz Denoise, on the other hand, is much, much faster. Adobe will improve the speed, I’m sure.

The name Denoise, though, had me wonder if this was an Adobe product or if it was Topaz, under license to Adobe. Hmmm…

MPB.com currently has 3 of the P1000. Each in excellent condition. It’s worth a look…

My bird books only cover The US and Canada… but, it is not a Bluejay, at least not in North America. What it is, I don’t know.

Wow! Interesting car… really like the front fenders that articulated with the front wheels. Certainly unique in that respect. Also like the boat tail rear end… that Buick apparently copied some years later for the Riviera. Thanks for sharing this photo!

With regard to the OP's images, the emphasis is definitely on the word 'rescuing'. Can you imagine how much better the end results would have been if the original images had been decently captured in the first place before they were sent to post? You can't get silk purse from a sows ear.

Agreed!

Great examples of ‘rescuing’ images. The ability of modern software is amazing.

Thank you, Dave. The eagle activity is waning near the dam, but it was a good run while it lasted. 👍

Thanks the the "heads-up", Ronnie. Jim and I went to get photos of the Snow Geese and Tundra Swans a few weeks ago and they, too, were gone for the season. Next year!
