Thanks BebuLamar, I suspected it might be feed back as I hear similar sound when fitting my hearing aids.Its not very loud but very high pitched. I will ask around for advice on solving problem. Sony have not replied as yet hopefully they may have an answer. Thankyou.

Video HDMI query

Thanks Tom, No noise or problem with connections to A77 or A99 so I assume the problem is with the camcorder Will keep trying to solve the noise before continuing to use it connected. I have contacted Sony with the problem but so far no reply. Thanks again Tom for the help.

Video HDMI query

I have a Sony handycam HD ACVHD I have connected the video cam to a Viltrox 7 inch HD LCD monitor. It works well playing back videos from the camera. It also works as a live feed from the camera but i can hear an
intermittent highpitched sound like a speaker feed back, its very faint. The live picture on the LCD screen is good and the zoom functions normally. The connection cable is HDMI. Any electronic experts out there who may know if that sound may damage my gear. Thankyou Yvonne

Small Ozzie Spider

Hi, Thanks Mark, I havent found an ID the closest i could find was Herpyllus ecclesiasticus the body and legs are right shape but marking on legs , head and back are different. Yvonne
