Love your take on a "Bed of Flowers." Beautiful!
Wow - these are so great that I feel like I can touch them! Thanks for sharing. I just had to show these to my family. I love the way you used your boots.
Sorry about the title -- they say never assume anything -- I assumed that everyone knew that "Hot August Nights" was the annual classic car event in Reno, Nevada. Now that I look at my title, I can see the confusion. I should know better; I am a teacher.
In reality, these were taken during hot August days. ;o) 100+ degrees
I have not tried HDR. This might be a great time to try it. Thanks for your input.
I took several pictures at "Hot August Nights" and now I want to do a little pp to make them pop. Here are a few of the ones that I would like to work on. Any advice?
This has a little different color.
I decided to play with your picture using Pixelmator. I only worked on some parts because the photo has a great history, so I think some of the damage should remain. I think the face is the most important part. You can use a program that lets you paint very small sections at a time.
If you have lighting issues due to lights or windows, filters work great. Then you can fine tune with a editing program. Pick a filter that is opposite on the color wheel. Magenta sounds about right.
#3 is unique! It looks like a winner to me. I like #1 and #3 best. Good Luck. ;o)
I ran across this guy as I was trimming my hibiscus plant. Luckily, he stuck around while I ran in the house to get the camera. Pictures were taken with a Nikon D90, AF-SDX VR Zoom-Nikkor 18-55 mm lens, f5.6, 1/60, ISO 500, at 55mm RAW.
I don't know how close this is to you or what kind of background you would prefer, but there is some variety at the local lake and recreation area. Check it out at http://visitpeoriaaz.com/lake_pleasant.php
I love Sedona, but I have never been to Peoria.
Looks like you have achieved success with this one! I love it.
I like taking pictures for fun with my Nikon D90. This seems to be a great site to share with other while enjoying what others have created. The following are some of my bug photos.
