I don’t know how everyone else feels about the new format that UHH is using, but I hate it. I used to look forward to reading the new posts in my favorite sections. They were on my home page everyday when I opened the UHH app, not so much anymore. I now rarely check the UHH app each morning, it is too screwed up. I haven’t a clue as to why UHH changed from the old format.
Maybe I’m too old to adapt to this change, just wondering if other senior reader/photographers feel the way I do.
If UHH stays with this format, I will probably just delete it from my computer. It just frustrates me too much.

I agree 100%, I used to look forward to reading the new posts in my favorite sections as well, for years now a habit I would look for UHH first to start my day and then finish my emails, now when I see UHH ..... I sigh...... and maybe come back later, NOT HAPPY.

For those who do not believe in God as the Creator, there will be no "next chapter." Just sayin..

It's not that simple, everyone's soul will spend eternity in heaven ( a wonderful happy place) if you have accepted Christ as your savior and asked him to forgive you for your sins which he will do if asked. or otherwise, your soal will spend eternity in Hell ever-burning in fire and brimstone where you will spend eternity to burn and not be consumed without relief.

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

I could never get that shot, (which is excellent) I would be headed for shore and stay off the water...for the rest of my life... I can take a hint.

I have heard that moth balls help keep them at bay and massingel douche (?) is what we used to recommend in the pet store for eliminating the odor. Seemed to work.

Moth balls do not work

Too bad you're in Maine. I don't think a house call to California would be practical. Thanks for the link to the trap. I don't think I could handle it myself, but it's good to know.

You Can do this it's very easy call me if you want I can guide you over the phone, If you have the trap you can trap the skunk and pay a neighbor kid to relocate and pay him $20, If you find someone Have them call me I will explain how to release skunks, and they won't get sprayed. My number is on my website.

I have a problem with skunks in my yard at night. I live on a 1 acre property in the California foothills. About half of it is fenced so that my two dogs can't get out, but skunks can walk right through the fence to get in. I just watched one do just that. It went under my car to get out of the light I had just turned on. One of my dogs got it once, the other twice. I can't tell you how horrible that is, having to wash the dogs in hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and dish soap. It is impossible to get all of the smell off, and they smell for a couple of weeks afterward.

I have been putting down skunk repellant for the past two weeks, and every morning I find new holes in my yard where they're digging for whatever they eat. Has anyone else had to deal with this? I've done Google searches, and aside from skunk repellant, there are recommendations for putting down animal urine, ammonia, vinegar etc. Amazon sells motion sensor lights to put around your property to make them leave.

Animal control will trap them and kill them. I'm not keen on that, but I'm getting desperate. If anyone has successfully gotten rid of these critters, tell me how it was done.

I have been in the animal control business for over 30 yrs https://crittercatcher.org/ I have trapped and relocated 100s and 100s of skunks this is the trap I use the most for skunks bait with buttered popcorn buy the trap here https://www.wildlifecontrolsupplies.com/animal/NWSTT6.html
