Hi Jim

The photo popping out of the frame is awesome! Do you know if it can be done with photoscape? That is the only editing software I have. I have spent an hour trying to do this and I give up.

Thanks

Mike

Hmmm...If you are looking for "professional" feedback then you came to the wrong place....but...I'll throw out my 2 cents....

The first thing that I see is that the shot is a bit blurry.

The on-camera flash definitely doesn't flatter this shot (nor any shot for that matter) in my opinion...on axis flash is generally bad news.

It appears to be a bit underexposed also.

I hope that helps.

the flash accentuated the flattened look it but it would have been flat anyway.....the colors yellow and green together in that light don't seem to flatter each other. i'd say look around more

You see- I thought it was a pretty darn good lookin' shot but that's why I asked- what do I know?

Hi Hogs
First of all, I love this forum! It's like a virtual "bar" of people drinking beer and talking photography. Anyway, the only way I'm going to get better is to get some "professional" feedback.
Tell me what you think- I was messing around in the front yard- I took this picture with the flash powered down and then I brought up the colors on the computer.

Thanks
MW

Is this even close to being displayed in my home or office?

Hi all
Ive been reading and learning from you guys since December and have gotten up enough guts to post a cartoonish picture of my house. Tell me what you think? Would you ever hang a picture of your house IN your house? I know my neighbors house is in the shot but if I move any more to the left there is a big tree. I also plan to take another shot when things start to "green up" a little bit.

Thanks

I'm reposting my original question- didn't get any responses- not sure if it made it to the forum.

Thanks

Hello Hogs,

Someone last week posted a cool photo- it was a picture of an object or a person (can't remember) with a full moon as a backdrop. I want to take another look at it but I deleted it and can't find it in the archives. Can any one help?

Thanks

Keep posting your pictures. I've said it before (about your red church pic and the pics from Zion) and I'll say it again, if these are straight out of the camera, you are one hell of a photographer!

Mike, I gotta ask again- like your photo of the red church- are these pics right out of the camera? If so, how do you do it? They are beautiful! Maybe its the border you use?

Mike,
The colors in the church photo are awesome. Is that straight from the camera or are they "enhanced"? And if so, what did you do?

Thanks,
Mike

reflection off the lens of the eye is red eye in humans. in deer its lime green eye or sometimes blue green eye. cats its yellow eye

As the resident ugly hedgehog eye doc, you guys are driving me nuts. It is not the lens causing the reflection nor can you see the optic nerve (it's about 1.5 mm in diameter in real life). Red eye is caused by the RETINA. I may not know much about photography, but I do know eyes. And I love this website.
