Very clever touch. Funny too.
Yes. Was hand holding lens and had very little time. I didn't want to be too zoomed in because I may have been too tight since he was only 20 feet away. I waited a logn time, then packed it in, then regrouped when he reappeared suddenly. Had lens at 400mm, and a few seconds to shot. Otherwise, would have zoomed in tighter if time permitted.
Awesome. Same thing happened to me yesterday. Waited, no action, started to pack it in, and then a bird shows up in perfect position. Regrouped asap and got one good shot.
Shot this little guy yesterday late afternoon perched on my backyard power distribution wire that feeds my home.
Nikon D700, Tamron 150-600 at 400,mm, Manual @ f8, 125", ISO 200. VC on. Hand held. Cropped in PSE about 30%.
I got mine from out of state a few days ago. Gave up on my local store, B&H, and Adoraam. Forget waiting 2 months.
I paid 1069, no sales tax, no shipping, no credit card fee.
Got it in 5 days. Nikon mount. 1069 shipped to my door.
Disagree. SSD improves not just load, but every write, or save, to the hard drive, especially for large data sets ( huge ps or or other graphic file sizes like cad). I am experiencing first hand the 10x or more increase - for loads, and each save, which are performed a lot. Saving frequently is essential to avoid data loss during work sessions. Saves on big ps and cad files take (100 m) long - even with high speed sata's (analog drives) and 16 g of ram. It's the I/o that is critical and solid state is lightening fast. There are also other ssd capacities like 250G ssd's, for less $. For small pp file sizes, it's not going to matter much because regular drives, along with plenty of ram and a decent CPU and gpu, will do the job. SSD is ideal for large to massive file size pp and other intense graphic work.
The only way to get a TRUE quantum jump in response time and maga throughput for extreme graphic work like LR, PS, 3D CAD, etc., is to make your C drive an SSD = solid state drive. At least a 10x increase in performance. The down side is you have to build the SSD from scratch; that is install the OS, then install all apps. Plus, they command a price premium. But wow, what a difference. 500 gig SSD costs around $300-$400+-. Then, have a 1T SATA second drive, and a 2T - 4T USB Seagate external drive. Once your past that, warp speed. Classic corporate shakedown.
Nice. It Works. Her hand does not distract because her face and abs are nicely illuminated and her hand is part of her femininity. Now you have two opposing views to choose from.
Her sudective energy is well captured.
What camera and lens/setting did you use?
Your heading includes the "....D700, ", but don't see any mention of that model after that. Is the D700 included in this firmware update, or not?

What happened to the "hope and change"?
I hope I have some change left after obumer bankrupts America.
In addition to the 12x24 & 12x36, Costco also prints panos in 20x60 and 24 x 72 sizes. I've had them print 4 panos over the past month as a price and quality test against my local custom print shop, and Adoramapix.
Results. Quality is superb. Price is incredible. Size options very good.
