Lovely vegetarian! Non-native but since it doean't eat meat it is more tolerable than Cuban tree frogs which eat our cute natives.

In the menu there is "live view" on/off selection or "allow live view" and there should be a "live view" button near the right side of the viewfinder, at least that's on my 60D and 7Dii.

Been there, done that! Flattening the print and lighting without glare/reflections was frustrating, tried copy stands, lights at 45 degrees, etc. Ultimately I chose to buy an Epson Perfection V500 Photo scanner. Problems solved!May 17, 2020 10:12:51 #
I use a "patch cord" a double male audio cord from audio output to audio input. Don't know about software though. Check to see if Win Media Player does it. I use a program "Diamond Cut Millennium" that lets me select input source and records but it is not free. Software that came with your MB or sound card will likely record as it features an audio "in" function.

My SONY offers "silent shooting" which employs a rolling shutter function. In this mode flash is disabled. Could you have used a similar function & forgotten?

I have this lens with FD mount adaptall added FD to eMount adapter and got exceptional result with my a6000. Fotodiox makes fine "dumb" adapters in my experience.
