Recording You Tube Audio

I'd like to make some "MP3" audio files from some You Tube videos. Are there any tools available that work, are relatively easy to use, and aren't full of malware, etc.?

I use a "patch cord" a double male audio cord from audio output to audio input. Don't know about software though. Check to see if Win Media Player does it. I use a program "Diamond Cut Millennium" that lets me select input source and records but it is not free. Software that came with your MB or sound card will likely record as it features an audio "in" function.

Be careful of downloading programs that are "listed" in a Google search. Too easy to get something with malware.

I use these two programs. One for recording and the other for the music. So far I have recorded over six hundred hours of music. Music can be transferred to CD or flash drive. I have mine on a flash drive which I am able to play on my car audio.

I've used this for quite a few years now and it works great. It even sends the audio to Windows Media so that I can make discs for my car.

I have used "Any Video Converter" for years without any malware problems. And the site does say no ads, no spyware, no malware. It works well for me in getting audio from YouTube.

I have used this for years. It's free, fast and easy to use. I probably have 40 or 50 thousand YouTube audio tracks I've downloaded. I have it bookmarked.

I've been known to use Real Player (free version) to download music videos from YouTube and then convert to MP3 with the VLC media player (free version) and Audacity (free version) if it needs to be edited.
There are probably easier ways so I'm not recommending this to anyone.

I have used "YouTube to MP3" BY Mediahuman for years. Works great; it will even download complete play lists into individual MP3s and best of all it's FREE. Have fun.
