So, if his type of work is mostly able to be done in camera, then the shot is being processed by the program in the camera, that is setting the sharpness, saturation, white balance etc. Then tell me how "you" are getting it right in the camera?. After you take the shot (I assume you are shooting jpeg) the camera processes the shot even to the extent of discarding information the camera feels is not necessary. It would appear that "your " involvement in the shot is very little. Like it or not your shot has been post processed in the camera and contrary to the belief of a lot of people on this forum "you" did not get it right in the camera, the camera got it right for "you". When you are post processing you are actually choosing what "you" need to do to the specific shot to make the best possible photograph you can get, and is not that the object of the exercise?.
