Something I have struggled with is comparing two images in different places in the film roll. I could use Compare mode but it's a PIA and I would want to see both images full screen one a time, and flip A to B to A to B.

Today I discovered that I can highlight two or more images in the film roll, and then using the arrow keys flip between them one at a, time full screen, skipping over all the unhighlighted images!!

This is great! It is exactly what I wanted.

Notes:
(1) View Mode is Loupe,
(2) to highlight I use CMD-Click in macOS (or CTRL-Click in Windows),
(3) It also works with an External monitor,
(4) works with both LR Classic and the new LR (cloud version).

I seem to remember that shift click would put multiple images on the screen it has changed with one of the updates. If you want to view multiple images on one screen select View->Survey and select them.

This belongs in the attic, but before it’s moved, I’ll just say (at the risk of alienating some members) that I would literally v**e for a yellow dog before I would do anything to see this crude, lying, self aggrandizing, unstable, bullying, easily threatened corrupt carnival huckster come back for another term. Enough damage to the country already. We need a president who behaves like one, not a would be king who thinks he can do anything he wishes regardless of the constitution. There, I’ve said it - finally had enough of these mean spirited nightly political shows masquerading at press conferences in the midst of a MEDICAL crisis.

Re: Please help with Menu settings on Nikon D850 for bird photography using prime lens Nikon 400mm and 600mm. I’m interested in learning from other photographers as to the settings that result in the sharpest possible bird images ...both while birds are sitting on distant (50-80 meters) tree branches and while birds are in flight.
Secondly, I’m trying to arrive at a clear understanding as to the function and conditions for use of the “Focus operation selection switch“. Is there any interaction between the ”Back Button Focusing” on the camera and the “Focus operation selection switch”?
I want to clearly know the purpose and when to use the fos switch. Thanks for your reply.
