Really quite the stretch, how about the Obama's AG having a private meeting with Bill Clinton while Hillary was under investigation. The fact is that there is no reason to believe that Barr is not acting with full integrity and that he is completely above board. You being easily lead down Conspiracy Avenue will not even consider that t***h. And yes, if you study and look at the activities of the intelligence agencies and what was going on in the Obama administration during the last year his tenure that lead to the investigation of Trump there is plenty of reason for Barr's concern. Of course as a loyal follower you don't seem to be concerned about the weaponization of our intelligence agencies and law enforcement agencies into the political campaign of a politician which you disapprove of.... Let me tell you friend, that is not how democracy works.
Really quite the stretch, how about the Obama's AG... (show quote)

You’ve chosen to miss the point. Appointing an AG who submits to p**********l bias as Barr did yesterday eliminates the independence of that position. Doing this makes the Justice Dept. a means of p**********l retaliation. And just like trump supporters justify their leadership’s claims by saying “Obama did worse”, subsequent presidents would point to trump using the same justification.

Barr’s behavior IS the actual weaponization of the Justice Dept. you rightly fear! The result is a lasting, unwelcome change in governance.

My example of Cavanaugh was as bizarre to you as Barr’s claim of spying is to me.

Funny to see the Demonics squirm, and they did squirm.

The AG as Sychophant should make everyone nervous! Why? because it sets an ugly precedent. Given that, who’s to say that a similar partisan democratic AG wouldn’t open an investigation of Cavanugh’s lies to Congress as prelude to judicial impeachment and possible imprisonment?

Assuredly NOT and the i***t you worshiped was in charge.

Love it when noticing the stupid rage who consume you.

Eisenhower warned of the military industrial complex ( which is one facet of corporate welfare ). That was in the late 50’s.

Now trump wants increase the military budget well beyond Obama’s budget.

Do you want to rethink your comment. It makes you look like an uninformed hypocrite.

He’s already had two years with the House and Senate owned by the Republicans. He didn’t get it done then and McConnell and other Repub leadership told him to back off. There’s no plan.

Too bad your silly lie of a response had nothing to do with the OP.

"A Pew Research survey last year found that 46 percent of “steadfast conservatives” believed that the U.S. stands above all other countries; only 11 percent of “solid liberals” believed the same. Seventy-two percent of steadfast conservatives said they often feel proud to be an American; only 40 percent of solid liberals said they do."

"Gallup headlined its write-up of a 2010 survey “One in Three Americans ‘Extremely Patriotic’: Republicans, conservatives, and seniors most likely to say so.” According to Gallup, 52 percent of Republicans and 48 percent of conservatives called themselves extremely patriotic; only 20 percent of Democrats and 19 percent of liberals did."

Why is it necessary to believe we are superior to other countries as if, person against person, we are bigger, smarter, richer, better looking ad nauseum? Why must “conservatives” feel they are the center of the universe instead of simply taking comfort in being a part of it? Why has “treating others as we would have ourselves be treated” been forgotten by trump and his supporters?

I’m proud of many things America accomplishes and stands for... but not all of it. I consider trump and those who support him to be what the worst our nation can be. What is scary is that 40% of v**ers endorse his damaging “leadership” towards selfishness, greed, lies and immoral behavior.

That sounds pretty cowardly: hiding behind the anonymity of the faceless Internet. Then again you hide behind the picture of someone in uniform pretending you have something in common... you’re such a fraud!

British journalist and television personality Piers Morgan blasted the “Russia collusion h**x” as a “disgraceful f**e news witch-hunt” by President Donald Trump’s enemies that very well could end up ensuring his re-e******n in 2020.

In a fiery column published Monday on DailyMail.com, Morgan criticized Trump’s enemies for propagating an “obsessively unrelenting campaign” to bring down the president by essentially accusing him of the worst thing possible: betraying his own country.

“Today, he stands completely vindicated,” Morgan wrote, citing the release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s “long-awaited report” that “sensationally cleared Trump of any collusion.”

While acknowledging that Trump is “jubilant,” Morgan turned his focus to the president’s enemies:

[M]y overwhelming feeling today is one of fury that [Trump] had to endure such a disgraceful, deceitful and concerted attack on his presidency based on nothing but a fervent desire to destroy him and his family.

Make no mistake, this was a ‘Get Trump’ mission driven by a collection of people who just couldn’t stomach the thought that he won the White House.

The Democrats, led by the demented Adam Schiff, screamed ‘COLLUSION!’ so often I’m amazed their larynxes didn’t explode.

But at least they had an obvious political motive for wanting Trump gone.

What is far worse is the way so many mainstream US media networks, newspapers and individual journalists fuelled the f**e frenzy.

They let all the normal rules of balanced reporting fly out the window as they competed with each other over who could land the biggest Pulitzer prize-winning Trump/Russia sucker punch that would KO the President they loathe.

Only it turned out they were all punching thin air.

Morgan’s lengthy piece breaks down every aspect of the collusion h**x and the media’s role in it before concluding with a silver lining for Trump, who can now declare: “I delivered on defeating ISIS, I delivered on the economy – and I crushed the f**e news attempt to destroy me on Russia collusion.”

“It’s a powerful v**e-winning cocktail,” Morgan concluded. “I tweeted last year that my bet was Mueller would find no collusion. Today, I bet that Trump, if nothing serious emerges in any other investigation, will now be re-elected President – and his enemies will have only themselves to blame.”

It’s a shame you don’t apply your obvious sk**l to something productive and a make a positive statement about your positions.
