We sort of had this situation 2 years ago except it was a cruise that was departing out of Galveston, TX. Due to fog the preceding weeks cruise was anchored 7 miles of the coast of the port whens we arrived at the terminal and it was going to be 3 or 4 hours before we could even board. Since I had my new Nikon D7200 we walked around Galveston and I was able to take some great shots. The ship finally came in around 2PM and we were able to board at 4PM. Then fog came back in and we were not able to leave the port until 10AM the next morning. As this was our first cruise we were worried about getting sea sick and when we woke up the next morning thought "Hey this is not going to be bad at all". Until we go on deck 4 to walk on the track (we had an inside cabin) do we find out we hadn't even moved. LOL
