Jerry, you are right. I set my picture capture to Standard which should be VIVID instead. And most of my enhancement could be overly done since I notice I am weak at color distinction. But I am probably the only to enjoy my own captures.
The reason I shot jpg because many good Fuji reviews on jpg color rendering and a Fuji raw uses 30mb instead of 23mb per D610.
More question: can a better camera/lens/technique capture a similar enhanced picture?
you can easily tell which one is enhanced
Recently I took a 20days trip to a few countries in Europe and brought my Fuji-XT10. I decided to shoot jpg with a single 64G SD.
I found more than half of the pictures were too dull so I use Lightroom to enhance every one them and the result is somewhat similar to my usual enhancement to raw file shot with my heavier D610.
I wonder if this is commonly practiced by some of you guys, or I am just overpainting my jpgs.

Forget camera upgrades. Buy a good quality cellphone now!
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=smartphones+vs+camerasCheck the reviews of a Huawei P30 Pro's zoom quality and night mode, you will be surprised.
I would say, a $1000 smartphone worth about $2000 worth of Dslr/Mirrorless gears.
If you don't mind to carrying and switching lens, a tripod and an external flash all the time, use what you are having. Otherwise, learn to shoot raw and post processing will yield more keepers.
I switched to Fuju x-T10 with 18-55mm recently, which weighs 1.7 lb for multiple days travelling.
My D610 with 24-85mm weighs 2.9 lbs will be used only for events or single day trip.
The picture quality of both are quite similar, but the Fuji feels so much lighter especially you have to carry it for a full day.
Check the best smart phone cameras on Utube, Huawei(P30 Pro), Samsung Galaxy 10, or Iphone X, one of them exceeds the others by a big margin, esp on night view, wide angle and long zoom.
If you spend around $1000 +/- $100 on one of the best smart phones, you will get at least the photo quality of about $2000+ value of Dslr/mirrorless gears.
If you plan to spend more than $3000+ on gears, that could be a different story.

The brand of phone has nothing to do with this. I dunno. Maybe you’re a plant from Huawei trying to drum up support for your company. That might explain your tenuous grasp of the English language.
If I work for Huawei, then I can afford a D850 with power zoom, but may be not my back for long haul.
Here is an interesting comparison of Huawei vs Samsung vs Apple of their latest model
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7dwBw09MLQI am using a BLU phone about $150, the reason I don't want to use expensive phone as my main camera is I lost and broke them, or I find their batteries deteriorating over 2-3 years.
Next week, I will be travelling to Turkey, Greece, Hungary and Romania with my newly Fuji X-T10 with 18-55 2.8 on it first mission. Hope I will get decent pictures.

As others have noted above I don’t believe a cell phone camera will replace DSLRs.
Also, please note that there are two FBI issued notifications in 2016 on HUAWEI network hardware stating that the 3800A router had the ability to store and forward client’s transmitted data over the Internet. The concern is real.
With that I will stay with my Nikon!
Have you noted that the US government is tapping other president's conversations of friendly nations.
https://www.eff.org/nsa-spyingThe US government is eardroping over your US phone but not if you use a Huawei.

Totally missing the point. Maybe it’s a great cell phone camera, but it’s not gonna replace a good DSLR or MILC for many things.
I agree I missed the point that money, size and weight are no object for you but not the majority of non-pros.
My point is that I have limited budget, and I just want to take decent pictures while viewing on my 40" monitor. I don't want to travel anymore with over $2000 and over 6 lbs of gears.
My point is the P30 Pro while under $1000, it can do just as good picture quality if not better compare to at least $2000 of dslr cameras with lens. So please don't trump me with your $5000 gears.
And the trend of the gap will be widening. This is only my prediction and I don't make a living at predicting.
Of course, it 'might' not be as good as your gear at zoom 100-400, but I think the comparison is not far off, but the phone can do a lot more, besides cost and weight less.
Here, I am talking about the P30 Pro only and not just any smart phone.

Yeah, not very convincing. Sure it zoomed a long way, but show me the actual images. Nothing was sharp and the dynamic range sucked. The worst thing these was they perpetrated the worst crime of cell phone cameras, vertical video
Hand held from my Panasonic G9 with 100-400
Wow, hat is impressive, but about >2.5 the price and 5lb vs 0.5, the size is obvious.
