Hello,
I’m looking for advice about how to share photos. I’m traveling with a group that is taking photos with phones, bridge cameras, and DSLRs and want to pool images in a web location from which all can download as desired. Any suggestions?
Create a shared folder in whichever cloud storage service you use, ie Google Photos for Android...
I'm a little antiquated. For what it is worth I would create a folder in my computer, download onto the folder each photograph from each phone and tablet and camera separately. The I would compile them onto a USB drive. You can make multiple copies to be place on a digital frame. Maybe in a hundred or so years from now, I would place them in a cloud. Perhaps that would be a good idea if they or I still exist at that time.

Depending on the number of pictures - you can use a shared folder on a cloud service, or you can use a photo-hosting site like Flickr.
I just sent about 100 images to my One Drive account for about six people to review.
A link to the One Drive folder can be sent to anyone to allow them to view, download, edit (if permitted).
Then I'll delete them when done.
Handy.
I use Apple's 'Shared Photo Albums'. You can invite people with Apple IDs and share as a public website with others.

Nancy,
As already mentioned, Google Photos, Dropbox and one more I use for sharing photos, Shutterfly.
Good luck,
Mark

A friend of mine just got one of these from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/ibi-manager-Organize-Privately-Favorite/dp/B07P5R2D42/ref=sr_1_2?crid=3TF5F34THR3QV&keywords=ibi+photo+manager&qid=1567527493&s=gateway&sprefix=ibi%2Caps%2C217&sr=8-2https://www.meetibi.com/It's called ibi - The smart photo manager. It connects to your router and you can upload from your computer or your phone and then invite other people to view them. Holds up to 2TB but I think there is a 4TB model too. So you don't have to pay any cloud fees or any other fees other than the price of the device which is about $130
Collect, organize, and privately share photos and videos with the people who matter most to you
Save all of your favorite photos and videos from your phone, computer, USB drives and popular cloud and social media accounts on one device. (Social media and cloud storage services may be changed, terminated or interrupted at any time and may vary by country. User account registration may be required.)
Find exactly what you’re looking for quickly using the simple to use app
Privately share individual photos and invite others to add photos to shared albums from vacations, weddings, and more
Invite your closest friends and family to a private space called the Inner Circle where you can all post photos and videos for each other to see
Setup is a snap, plug in your ibi smart photo manager, download the app (available only in English) and let ibi do the rest. (System Requirements: Works with iOS (10+), Android (Ver 6.0+), Windows (7+) and macOS (10.9+), Wireless router for internet connection)

flickr has a free account and you can store photos with permission limited to specific people ('friends', 'family', 'public').
The free account is limited to 1000 photos I believe (per account).
Many years ago, I used flicker which was all free. I found that people could view all my uploaded photos regardless on what privacy/security settings. So I quit using it, I hope it improves but it is free up to certain number of photos, right?
Why did I bother to take my camera to Greece? I could just look at the ones on tenny52's google album. Better pictures anyway. I could have been listening to the guide instead of wandering off, looking for a better view.
