I also have an iMac desktop, but for casual surfing the net and traveling I have a 2015 12"MacBook. Just the right size for my backpack. After 5 years of usage, it still runs great.

Goodwill will take them. Yesterday I "donated" 2 lenses from the '60. Not my Leica lenses.

Your interval setting has to be set at 42 seconds. timed exposure (40sec) + time between shots (2sec).

On my Panasonic GX8, interval time equals exposure time plus time between shots. If your exposure time is 3o sec, and you want 2 seconds between shots, your interval time should be set at 32sec.

then this Spotted Sandpiper showed up. I never saw one in a tree. He took short flights of about 20 feet , and came right back to the same branch. Didn't get my Hummingbird, but this is my first Sandpiper in a tree.

I just talked to my technician who replaced my 2013 HD with a SSD, he said you can replace your fusion drive with a SSD in your 2015 iMac. I also upgraded to 16GB Ram, all for $560.

I think it's your computer, and not the "Photos" app what gives you a problem. I have a late 2013 iMac which started acting up. I had it upgraded to 16GB Ram (from 8GB) and a 1TB SSD. It's like having a new computer. I import all my photos to several "Photos" library's on an external HD and a 2nd back-up drive. I use Affinity for my main processing app. You can purchase Affinity Photo for $49.99.
