Take extra special care of yourself, Frankie, and stay well!

You too.... are you getting out? or self isolating? We are doing the latter.. Cheated today though, took a ride to the post office... just to drop some things in the mailbox. Then back home to bake more cookies. It's a heck of a diet. Our niece has been doing grocery runs for us.. Gonna need some emergency Ice Cream really soon.
Take care and stay well :)

I bought these work boots 48 years ago and they've lasted until this week. My daughter advised me to send a picture to the maker of "HERMAN'S SURVIVORS" (does anybody remember them?). Sadly, the Herman family sold out to Walmart many years ago; I don't think the Waltmart Board would be interested in my story.

Thanks for looking.

A perfect tribute. Great picture. Thanks for sharing the image and your story

Not exactly sure where these belong. Just stuff I am doing while in lock down.
OK So Doing some cleaning I found another of my old Kodak point and shoot digital cameras. This one is a 6.1 megapixel they stopped manufacturing in 2007 (don't remember when I bought this). Here is a picture of the camera Comparing it's size to my Smallest OMD camera (OM-D E M10 iii). Anther shot of a picture taken with the Kodak of my OMD :) There is no point here (just trying to maintain sanity). Having little fun.

LOL She's certainly grown, Frankie, and her baby blues are big and beautiful!!

Yep, I don't think she is gonna get much bigger. She is a terrible watch dog but is really friendly and never bites or chases cars. Always comes when you call her :)
Happy Sunday, enjoy the day.

all the blooms on the new stem are mature. Just posting cause some of you seemed to have an interest in the progress. Nothing fancy, just a quick pic of my little window sill garden. Won't be doing this again till the next bloom time. I do have another orchid I am nurturing (right now seems dormant) but I am hopeful. Thanks, for looking. Enjoy the day :)

When I view a Photo Gallery photo in Download the picture becomes smaller versus sometimes larger?

I think what your seeing is possible. It depends on your screen resolution, pixels per inch, the graphics card, the size of the file you are viewing, also aspect ratio. Back in the day of monitor resolution being categorized as CGA and VGA and the SVGA. the higher resolution monitor would show the same image smaller with smaller dimension (LXW). Because the actual screen pixels were closer together. This is also and interpretation of the original file size. Check out this web site, which may help and shed some light on what you are experiencing.

Once-upon-a-time, not so long ago, the planet was warm from the glow of the sun. Mother Nature used her pallet of pastel colors and brushed them on her plants and creatures.

Oh, how I remember those days!

WOW really good great perspective :) thank you for sharing.

And we're always honored to have you post here, Frankie! Beautiful image and an interesting dialog, plus I learned something!!!

Thanks. As always. I appreciate your feed back. APS was an exciting time to be working on imaging's future. It is kind of fun to watch some of the concepts just coming into digital cameras were developed while inventing APS. Charging stations for batteries in camera, and the depth of the meta data including audio. To compete with on coming digital imaging there were small APS film scanners to convert/digitize you images directly to you computer (you could e-mail them to all your friends or post them). Kodak was working on both technologies at the same time making for some interesting internal competition. Just rambling bout fun at the film factory :)
Enjoy the day.
