Usually I put my personal things in the backpack with my camera etc. There was a lot of room in the backpack after I took all of my camera related things out. The lady that searched it really checked each compartment thoroughly. I guess she thought there was too much empty space. I think I will write to the head of Louisiana Department of Corrections. First I need to find out who that is. I'll let you know how it turns out. BTW, the rodeo was great and all of the things the prisoners made and had for sale were great. Next year I want to go earlier so I can look at more of the things. Hubby got a new leather belt for $20.00 and I got a beautiful chopping board. I would have gotten more but we ran out of time.

Recently we went to a rodeo and weren't allowed to bring our cameras. The rodeo was at the Angola State Prison. Angola is in Louisiana and I live in Louisiana therefore I'm a part owner?? What really ticked me off was that people were using their phones to take pictures, but I had to leave my camera equipment in the car.

Can anyone recommend a good external hard drive that I can use for my photos. Hubby offered me one that he had, but the darn thing doesn't work. I have never fooled around with an external hard drive or would a portable one be better?

My brother and sister-in-law had a black lab and a 2 year old grandson. One day their g-son wondered what that hole in the back did when he put his finger in it. The look that Koro gave Gene was hilarious. Gene is a senior in high school now.

Awesome. I'm still using my camera as a point & shoot when it is something I really want to get. Then I play with my camera. I turned off the auto focus one day and was just trying different things with out it. The next day I decided to play around again, but I forgot that I had turned off the auto focus. Naturally I thought something had broken. Took a couple of minutes to figure I had been a dummy. I'd like to learn how to do what you do with your pictures, too.

Our granddaughter loves horses and her dad had a pony come to the house for her birthday party. When she saw the pony she took off.

My sister-in-law once made the comment that she thought that the only reason my brother went to church with her was because he liked to dress up. When she said that it reminded me of when our mother said that he always liked to dress up. He was 15 years older than me and I think I was in my early teens when she said that about my brother. :lol:
