How?

This is a debate starter for you?

Not really. Just stating the obvious. Since we're talking photography here why would you even suggest that RBY are indeed primary colours or even an optional mode?

"You cannot mix and match the color modes". Who'd a thunk?

You also seem to enjoy criticising other people's knowledge or lack thereof... "Warning - STAY AWAY as you are worthless" - What? You need to get out more...

We can make this really com, plex or really simple.

School children learn RBY.

We're not at school any more...

End of story and a nonsensical debate.

You started it :D

The primary colors indeed use Yellow, Blue and Red.

Not unless you're painting your images with watercolours or oil paint!

The primary (additive) colours for the human eye, photography and light in general are Red, Green and Blue. The secondary (subtractive colours) are cyan, magenta and yellow (Black is only added in printing to make up for the shortcomings of the inks). Simple as.

Really? I think you're a little confused as to the difference between light and pigments, and the way that additive and subtractive colours actually work...

Very nice, but the interesting thing is, it doesn't translate quite so well into the UK, as we never had a dust bowl in the thirties! Fortunately, or unfortunately, we've always had plenty of rain here. Music it seems can only raise those deep emotions that we have a real empathy with?

Absolutely!

Her "Raising Sand" collaboration with Robert Plant has some great tracks. This collaboration with the Cox family is even more amazing though!

I have a couple of her albums and was fortunate enough to see her live in the UK around 15 years ago. An angelic voice! "You say it best when you say nothing at all" is a big favorite of mine.

There's very little reason to do multiple exposure in-camera with digital cameras.

I use the OpTech Super Classic with the Pro-Loop Connectors. It's very reasonably priced and I can't fault it.

My brother and his family are over in the UK from California on their annual visit and we hooked up for dinner on Sunday. I finally managed to get a decent shot of my nephew Seb without the usual funny faces that he pulls!
