Thanks everyone for their imput. I've got some things to think about. All I know is that when B&H gets the D300s in stock, they don't last long. So it's still a desirable camera.
Thanks. Maybe I'll just get another D7000. I like the higher resolution and ISO than the D300. Something to think about.
Thanks MT Shooter. I own a D7000. I was looking for an inexpensive backup. Also, I like the weight distribution of the D300 when using the Nikkor 70-200 F2.8. I tried my friend's D300 with my 70-200 and liked the combo, weight wise.
Thanks snowbear. I know that's the major difference, but isn't there other improvements as well?
New guy here. Need help. Looking to buy Refurbished Nikon D300 at $999 or D300s at $1350. Which is better buy? Will be using mostly for sports, if that helps.
