Some photos of our Scottish Parliament. Quite an ugly building IMO, supposedly most of the shapes are boat like.
This link will tell you more.

I cannot find words to describe how I feel.
All I can say is that is an abomination and insult to the Scottish people.
As for the cost.......? 😡 ouch!

Not much time to take photos on a farm. Since we moved to our farm is has been very busy but very enjoyable. I always take time though, daily, to see how everyone is doing here on UHH. I have my morning coffee and view the beautiful, awesome pics everyone is sharing then go feed the animals.
I thought I would share a few pics that I managed to take in the last month or so. I hope you will enjoy them.

Love them all. Each has its own little niche.

It is the most famous in the country and a major tourist attraction on the way down from Hardangervidda to Hardangerfjord.

Had a quiet last day in Las Vegas visiting the Hotel Bellagio, where they had an autumn display of pumpkins!

We went to the Hotel Paris this evening to see The Jersey Boys in a show, excellent.

I would just like to convey my very many thanks to my friends who have followed us around on this trip, thoroughly enjoyed all your comments.

My last pic is to say 'Goodbye America' you have made this a wonderful holiday.

Patterns of color, texture, wood grain, a glimpse of the distance through the house and out another window or door. Many of the same elements as the other version, yet different. The colors make this almost cheerful when you would expect it to be sad. They call up good memories that give a glimpse of what once was a home. The mono version doesn't have that, it is just patterns and textures of present day deterioration.

I like this a lot too.It is good to keep trying different approaches.
Well done

And which is an illusion?

I specifically set out to find a subject that would hold its pattern when I inversed its colors. I gave it an HDR treatment to emphasize the structural textures.

I love this it is very impressive.Well done

Great catch. So very well done. Depicts poverty in one sense but her shoes are shining

In a dark and hazy room, peering intently into a crystal ball, the Gypsy Mystic delivered extremely grave news:

"There's no easy way to tell you this, so I'll just be blunt. Prepare yourself to be a widow. Your husband will die a violent and horrible death this year."

Visibly shaken and with tears starting to appear in the corners of her eyes, Karen stared at the woman's lined face, then at the single flickering candle, then down at her hands. She brushed away the tears, took a few deep breaths to compose herself, and to stop her mind from racing. She simply had to know. She met the fortune teller's gaze, steadied her voice and asked, "Will I be acquitted?"

For some reason, wives tend to like this joke
