When sitting at my 27 inch Mac monitor subtends a visual angle of 80 degrees. Lying in bed my 55 inch LCD TV subtends an angle of 40 degrees. I get all the UHH stuff quite nicely at my desk. Please explain why I'd wont to reduce the experience by a lot of trouble, cables and gadgets to see your pronouncement in bed ?
I bought the nikon p500 last year, took it to Nambia, Cuba and Fl for scenery, wildlife, architecture and friends and family. Having one lens instead of a bag-full was really appreciated and I'm almost completely satisfied, until the 42X P510 came out. So the urge to upgrade hit me. But I also looked at other makes and after lengthy spreadsheets of Specs and Reviews, I came down to two, NOT including the Canon. Feel in hand, ease of use and the monster zoom vastly outweigh the fully articulated LCD, the only point where Canon won. But I am strongly attracted to the Panasonic Lumix DC FZ200 for these features: first & foremost a constant f/2.8 across the entire zoom range. Also fully articulated LCD, a Hot shoe, records in RAW and Jpeg. I ask myself, in low light would you rather have a 600 focal length at f/2.8 or a 1000 lens at 5.9 ! I haven't resolved that.
WD-40 means the fortieth trial at perfecting a Water Displacement fluid propelled from an aerosol can ( now using carbon dioxide as the propellant), that used a volatile material to lower viscosity when mixed with an oil, to achieve penetration around screws in screw-holes, into bearing rings, bearings, etc..
Look into any of the various Dollar Stores for $1 to 5$ frames.
Originally the word Professional applied to those who offered advice, e.g. the lawyer, the physician (but not the surgeon), or the priest. Of course if the advise was worth it, a fee could be charged. How being paid became the definition of professional is simply people wishing self aggrandizement. I accept that the harlot was considered a professional because of her description of the clients talents and abilities.
A ratio is a fraction, to be pedantic.
I notice that you (correctly) refer to "f/stop" and usually write the aperture as f/8 , f/2 . etc. That should serve to remind us that you are using a fraction. We readily understand that 1/2 is larger than 1/8, so it should naturally follow that aperture f/2 is larger, and admits more light, than f/8
They do have IS for scapels; it's called robosurgeons.
Camera manufacturers are already doing this, presumable after some thought and survey
But try to put on a UV, CP or other to protect the lens ! One aftermarket way crops the wide angle end so you end up with 50 - 850 MM EQUIVALENT. You can unscrew the outermost cylinder of the Kiwi adapter, which accepts 67mm threaded filters, for one or two wide angle shots (without any filter) if you.e a big pocket or an third hand. Not very convenient. When glare makes the screen useless, the viewfinder is a lifesaver. ted
