Wow ! Somebody should be protecting these people from themselves.

I use anything I want with my Cintiq. I believe it's the same with all of them.

B&H has a great used department. If money is the issue right now, I'd get a used body that fits your glass. B&H also has a good guarantee on their used stuff.

Yes, I would suggest looking into the rule of thirds. Although we all know rules are meant to be broken, it takes some practice to know when that might be advisable.

Thanks Jim. I found the Orlando Camera Club to be fun, interesting and of good potential. It's the 140 mile round
trip that keeps my lazy backside from joining. Might be
the sacrifice that I'll have to make though. ez

Hello everyone,

Just discovered this forum somehow. Looks like a good group of like-minded people. If anyone is in central Florida, I'm looking for people to day trip with, on occasion.

Moved back to the US two years ago from the Netherlands. It is proving a challenge to find inspiration here, but maybe some of you know the area and can direct me.

I found this guy on my porch screen. He was totally unintimidated and let me get less than a foot from his "face" with my macro lens.

He looks absolutely prehistoric to me and very beautiful.

If your interested in "cute," keep the whole image. If you're interested in a strong image, crop in. Everyone is aware that bark grows on a tree.

The picture would have been stronger if you had cropped it in closer.
