Terrific photo with great pose!
Excellent. Love the clouds too. Might I ask where they were taken?
I was in a local Botanical Garden, on my belly, scooted under a bush to take close-ups of some mushrooms. I got the feeling I was being watched, so I rolled over to look and a couple jumped out of their skin. They had thought I was a dead body.
Excellent composition. What a gorgeous place.
I've had good luck with Nation's Photolab over the years, especially the metalic prints which really pop. I will look into Miller's, per the above comments. I entered a photo contest in our local paper, and they made their own 8x10 prints for the show. I thought they looked great and asked about them. The columnist whispered to me that they used Sam's Club.
I heard there was road construction in the park. Are they done? Are roads accessible for night sky photography? Thanks!
I also have the Sigma 18-250 Macro HSM and I've found it to be excellent. I used it exclusively on a tour of New Zealand and Fiji as a way to save weight. I was very happy with the performance. I use it as my walking around lens. I use my Canon L lenses for specific artistic photography. The Sigma does have a little barrel/pincushioning (some straight lines bend, like the sides of a building) but if I care, I just straighten in Photoshop. Sharp fast focus. Great value lens.
